FUND RAISE ?
Anyone any ideas on how we go forward without a fund raise as we are low on cash. Personally I would support a fundraiser if it puts us in a stronger bargaining position with investors. Short turn pain for long term gain and keep more of the pie ? Get minimum £1m 2d mapping done of extended license as per our obligations would put us in even stronger position and show future drilling prospects.

I can assure you that the entire management team are committing long hours seven days a week to address the current situation and improve the production profile at Baita Plai.

I cannot comment on news regarding finance and Africa as this would be via RNS at the relevant time however we are working hard on both fronts.

Over reaction now... we are still producing while we wait and make changes for new modern tech and selling at a higher price which should partly offset the lower than expected production... it’s still cash flow and from next month we will start to produce at least what was expected and selling at a higher price.. with lower labour costs... GLA

Restructuring ? Splitting company in a spin off to allow finance to be completed ? We know the bank want nothing to do with the African side of vast... Ap was having meetings with Botswana diamonds James campbell recently... they had a memorandum of understanding to work together in Zimbabwe a few years back didn’t they ? Ap shot off to Africa a bit sharpish after finance deal issues were announced... all complete guesswork of course !! lockdown now relaxed out there... GLA

Yes disappointing that production isn’t going as planned but if production had been just below expectations they would have probably struggled on with old fashioned mining methods trying to make it work and not called in Marcus to use modern methods to make us a more efficient, reliable and more importantly a much more profitable mine.
It’s a short term set back which in the end will work out in our favour IMO
If only we had called in Marcus in the first place !! But we now have our expert in charge to turn things around and realise our mines potential with modern tech....GLA

Whilst I cannot comment on the details of our offtake agreement, I can confirm that we do not sell our concentrate at a fixed price and that we do benefit from rising commodity prices. We have made several tweets highlighting the increasing commodity prices.

What a bunch of merchant bankers !! Licking their wounds, Sad people that spend all day trying to make a company fail because they have traded it badly or sold to low after finance deal yes you Harry the expert in shares that sold at the lowest ever price what a looser !! Mad max setting his alarm to try and make other shareholders lose more money than him to make him feel better and this pecten character is just another sad loser who traded badly maybe they are all the same person ? Trying their best to get in lower ??? they/he/she will love this post to tell us some more of their repeatable carp of the past it’s getting so boring now guys.. surely you must be a bit bored posting same carp everyday .. copy and paste would help you have more time to try and recoup losses elsewhere ? You probably have made so much more money elsewhere I know, it’s easy right ? It’s quite obvious Vast are going to do well with copper prices going through the roof !! Yes dept to pay back but out of profits and money raised already, another placing you will say maybe maybe not but if there is it’s to conserve cash for funding deal or to re invest in our massive mine which will be in Marcus Brewsters hands soon to make a very profitable mine.

Typo £27.5k buy not £23.5k

Maybe next $500000 payment will be paid in cash from sales. looked like they are producing a substantial amount from tweet pics and next tweet video showing another load being produced.. maybe they will use a mixture of sales and cash they have in the bank as they must know this will be positive for the share price and give confidence to the market.. would be good timing as the overhang must be nearly gone now leaving the way clear for a decent rise in SP.. some chunky trades of late is positive and clearly a nice £23.5k buy after hours today as buys reported as sells for most of the day and no sell was that high a price.. Marcus Brewster starts soon and will improve output and profitability further... copper price is obviously such an important factor too.. the more we sell the more we make. GLA

Sarah, the bank were happy to lend against Bp but not while they will be exposed to other assets we have. It sounds to me that they don’t want anything to do with our African side of the business. Quite understandable and it was always the case that they were only interested in Romanian assets. The credit committee must have thought long and hard to make this decision as it took a while for news to land.
There are many ways to look at this. Personally whilst it would have been better to have had deal agreed the company has now been told what to do to get the deal through and we will do whatever it takes. I think it will be advantageous for us to get this reorganisation completed, the banks are the experts in business here and the whole process has made us as a company more investable also got rid of some Negative doubts about ownership of Bp, we are also now aligned with Ap share wise and we now have a decent amount of cash. Atlas should play ball if not as you say there will be other options to manage dept until we are profitable which sounds like it won’t be long as we are making solid progress ramping up to full production as stated in rns.
The better news is antharry has sold out so won’t have to read his over negative and sometimes patronising posts. these type of guys put in so much effort night and day with their conspiracy theories which doesn’t help having a decent two way balanced discussion and puts posters off posting. Their motives are quite obvious and they are not worth replying too as that’s what they want so they can play their games of scare them low sell high sort of tactics etc....Personally I like to read Rns’s and stick to what I’ve been told. Yes they could be clearer sometimes and not so open for misinterpretation.
Question for you do you know where this rumour of Ap going off to africa started ?? Seen it mentioned a couple of times...

The more I read the rns the more I think this will be in the end better for all parts of vast. Once restructuring is done the bank will be happy to lend on our producing copper mine. They are not happy to be exposed to other parts of the business which is fair enough and understandable as they are not up and running yet.
This will also make it more attractive and clearer to other investors to choose which parts of our company they invest in.
The bank if anything have helped us to become a cleaner more organised company. It’s also an opportunity to get in at crazy low prices.

Here’s to all vasters being repaid for their belief in what we have here... a world class low cost producing copper mine !!! When all comes good this will be a life changing opportunity !!! Personally been invested since old days of .55 sold at 1.8 then out until now because all hard work has been done and there is obviously massive upside !! All the best to all invested !!
