With a ramp like that, I think Reform will struggle to level up! :)))
With the apparent buy & sell volumes today, I think that in the recent past we would have seen a dip of 0.5/0.75p. Are we now at the inflection? With so much news waiting to drop the makers seem a little reluctant to move the price down. We live in hope!
Quite clearly so did you! Better to research than be ignorant, wrong and a hypocrite like you.
Thank you Kaeren. Well, that should put that one to bed!:)))

Consuela it is perfectly grammatically correct to use "but" at the beginning of a sentence. You can do it to start the first sentence of a paragraph. You can also use it at the beginning of a new sentence to descibe its connection to an earlier one.No compulsory grammar rule states that starting a sentence with a conjunction is incorrect. Hope this helps.
It seems to be getting more difficult to make sense of some posts lately. I do like good punctuation as it helps to make understandable sub-sentences. But then I thought, do other posters have trouble understanding my postings? As for spellings, I can usually decipher these, so not too much of a problem. The movement in sp is pretty close to zero! I admit I’m amazed by how quickly the tempus has fugit-ted and the petrified sp.( not in a good way).
The FTSE100 constituents of my ‘folio are noticeably more profitable over the period and have produced dividends.
Perhaps my expectations have been too high?
It’s almost ten months since my first buy into Harl.
A ‘ my dad’s bigger than your dad’ battle can only lead to tears. Once in, it becomes a matter of pride, regardless of cost. Not the sort of operating scenario we need currently Imo.
Si Derman, watch too for if his undercrackers are visible on the outside…..
Just read the post about eggs in baskets. If one has time/ inclination, I would recommend reading John Allen’s book ‘A mathematician plays the stock market’
Lottie123. Oh, wow, oh for an alternative to vote for! I think an awful lot of people will be tempted by Reform. My own resolve is, as yet, undetermined(it’s a pity Lord Sutch isn’t around anymore:)). A few more heavy weights are needed in there such as Ben Wallace, I wouldn’t turn my nose up at the very charismatic Boris either. Farage has good ideas and has great cognition of the public but I can only describe him as ephemeral. Still, we desperately need a hero!
It seems all the talk is about a massive uplift in sp once funding is announced. OK I’ll go with that. However, the question for me is, how long will it last? The trend in this stock is spike and drift. The low of 5+ p from before the FSS announcement doesn’t look that far away as I look at comments regarding 7 or 8p being the new support. So, stick or trade? It’ll be a tough decision when it comes!
The ftse100 is still at/below the figure it reached in April 2018. It speaks volumes about British industry in general. Thinking back to the 80’s, before the storm of 87 the ftse was around 1800. The Dow around 2400.(ftse + 1/3) Now FTSE 100,7800. Dow 39500. ( ftse x5). No one is interested in the UK currently and in the past 30/40 years. Given the state of governance in the UK I can’t see this changing in the foreseeable future.
Scaffman 2:21. I don’t think it’s UKEF who put the finance deal back from q4 22 to q1 23 to q2 23 to q4 23 to q1 24 to q2 24. I don’t think either that it was them who takes six months to publish results and still needed a three month extension to publish the 2021 year end. H&W seriously need to sharpen their act up imo.
Xenor, 12:28.my belief is end of June. That gives lots of time to understand H1 and shuffle things from year end to H1 and versa but really, not good enough.
Si Derman 12:29. I think ‘ news drought’ might be more appropriate ))
I’m at a loss to understand why it takes Harl sooooo long to produce results for interims and finals ( or, actually, anything to do with financials). To me this yet another indicator that AR is not up to the job. I’ll be voting for him to leave at the next pertinent AGM.
