Just think if we had gone with tech 12 years ago instead of having the o&g dream lol
Is there someone I can send my bank details to for the big transfer?!
Has the company ever confirmed they have a full register of shareholders? They've proven over the years their admin isn't the best...
I can't see how they can go after the shorters if the company is delisted and now liquidated. However, i would love it if they had the evidence to go after TW and YA with criminal charges!!
Lets hope SN has his ducks lined up as the timing is good - https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/us-oil-gas-dealmaking-reaches-fever-pitch-2023-enverus-says-2024-01-23/
Because not all shareholders are part of the family, ie ZM!? I guess back to ODR's point that they can can now decide who is part of the family!
Of course he could ODR but I don't SN as that type of guy! He would trash his reputation if he did that. Jmo. Hopefully not too long till we find out either way!
Folk need to remember it's not just us (uk private SHs) involved here. There's institutional investment, SN's pals, other board members with the same shares as us. Getting this and Georgia over the line here has strategic regional importance which will mean far greater to SN than just money. The fact they are communicating with us means (imo) they aren't cutting us out a deal. And yes it has to be a deal...they haven't gone to this effort just to get the nodding donkeys back online! It does look like they are screwing those that screwed them but then I'm all good with that!! I just wish they'd hurry up...my main concern is that SN pops his clogs!!
We're all at a loss because they won't tell us anything but they arent going through all this pain and significant cost just to turn the taps back on. Has to be a deal of some sort
Thanks Looed, and more importantly, by the fact that they are in communication, albeit brief suggests we as shareholders are still part of the company!
Fascinating stuff! Thanks Looed for this summary. The mourant ozannes is an interesting one as they would be privy to the inside story in terms of wider settlements and potential sell off so deemed it worthy to go chase their own debt owed. All this time and money spent can't surely just to get frr operational again...it has to be a sell off of a significant value!!
Yeah but we'd all still take 1p if it was offered to us lol
900 page legal document against a company thats near 4 years supposedly out business (according to the naysayers!!). The legal costs to pull this together would have been significant! You don't do that unless there's something to go after!! But then again you don't waste the money if a deal has been struck to continually kick the can down the road in terms of court dates. Who knows but enough going on to give me a glimmer of hope!!
Thanks Looed. Do you genuinely believe this will come good not just for FRR but for us as shareholders? You could argue that given frr's tenure in Georgia, and what size of resource they claim to have, should be given alot of credit for where the government are going with energy independence.
lets hope so firstly for humanity's sake!! From an FRR pov it would be significant. The removal of putin and cronies would go someway to easy the threat for those bordering russia and ex soviet states but importantly would speed up thought of investment in these areas. What it doesn't change is the need for the world to wean itself off russian oil and gas, and georgia would appear to have significant amounts of it in a strategically significant corridor. we just need to continue to be patient!!
The very fact frr is still alive, still battling away in the court means we are being seriously funded by someone! And if frr have the gas they say they have (was it not something like 5/6th biggest reserve globally) getting that gas into play becomes vitally important given what is going on! But does a major get themselves involved in a country where there are still Russian ties...but then again those ties may have evaporated and pushed them to the west! Who knows and all ifs and buts, but I'm surprisingly optimistic and happy to wait it out. Oh the other niggle is do they just start again and forget the original shareholders!!
my concern is if we do resurrect as the real FRR Zaza still wins with his shareholding. If i was SN i would be doing my best to ensure zaza didn't benefit from this which in turn means we'll be shafted!!
...they could sort this mess out! If they have a fraction what they say they have then no matter the politics the SMs would be fighting over this! Still dreaming this will come good and if does the valuations posted here over the years could be blown out the water!!
Thanks Looed...frr certainly keeps you coming back for more haha. Like most I've given up but you never know!!!
Haven't quite followed all the recent posts mostly due to legals being way over my head!! Is zaza really that conniving to hold several SH meetings, field visits, personal communications with SHs (mole have you tried him?), II money raising and numerous media interviews all in a effort to pull the wool over eyes and steal the asset from us. The recent revelations do suggest this but i do feel there is far more to the story to be revealed. I'd also imagine there are some heavyweight investors who might have something to say if zaza takes all! Clutching at straws but if the asset is as big as they say it is and in geographical strategic corridor then there is plenty to go around once a deal is struck!
Some of those perceived insiders could do with dropping us a bit hopium!
