How'd you get unfiltered?

Time will tell if it was a good call or not. My last stop loss during April hit at 408, my average then was 179. Admittedly I bought back poorly at 388 but I had the same amount of shares and enough 'profit' to have a fortnight exploring Bordeaux and Arcahon, thanks M&S.

Was going to use the money to spend on my 50s porsche but remembered I'm dyslexic and it's spelt porch. 😉

I can't say i have a specific target, I'm sure if I hadn't sold we'd have seen 376 but 386 would see me back, depending how we get there, if we do. Historically we have a tendency to spike early, retreat then spike again just before results, arguably too high which has led to disappointment no matter how good the results have been, and they've been better than good. If we flatline from here to the 5th then there's a real possibility of staying over £4, if the results a re as good as expected and final cyber costs close or below the £300m.

Well done, as we smashed through £4 and hit 405 i set a stop loss at 398.5, was triggered within hours. Happy to sit out for now, I can see us dropping 10p more than rising it over the next two weeks, may be wrong but expect to be higher ahead of results...after results?

One more thing, this morning, I had a quick look at volumes for when shorts reduced, see if I could see a correlation as surely we're due a reduction, anyway for today I could already see a volume of 28m at 8.05am but couldn't explain, anyone got a view?

OK, while we wait for news and watch what the SP is going to do, where do you think we would be had it not been for 'the incident'? My guess 430-440.

morning fender, for me i can see us going 15p either way between now and the 5th, however, if it's a drop i'm confident it will recover above current sp before the 5th. if we repeat april and see a spike in to the 4-teens before result then ill repeat april and set a stop loss about 409-10. if this is hit i'll,sit and wait for a entry point below £4 and see what happens in the lead up to jan update, unless of course the news on the 5th spurs a sentiment change that pushes us over 420, if that happens and i've sold then i have no doubt a green box will appear telling everyone how **** i am.

You know I love a good SP guess, looking at current trajectory, which is similar to last year, then I'll go with 3.95-8, though for me it's about what I don't want to see ahead of update....and rapid rise close to the date that ends in an overall fall, like the last three. Not sure i want to see £4 yet, until we're confident we can take and hold it, although we will have the budget where we may get thrown a bone and the Christmas trading update in Jan to look forward to.

Let's hope there's no real uncertainty left regarding the incident so we can move forward with a refreshed sentiment from those who have been squimish!

Short reduced to under 1%, first time since June.

Retirement, not a bad post except for the last bit about 2%. 2% of your holding isn't £5 but £2500, 10% of the average UK wage, 8-9years of winter fuel payments. You'd only net to do it 4 times a year and your at your minimum return.

Morning Beo, thanks for post, can you remind me roughly where the store is in the country, no need to name as wife works there and for context would you say it's more a food orientated store? 20% on food is fanominal, was expecting 14%, perhaps less considering the waste your wife reported during the attack. Clothing is a worry, you'd have thought with the attack that would have boosted instore, was any rational given for the drop?
