If only I had your faith - none of the Board have bought a single share since Sept, and don't tell me they have been in close period continually since then.....they exhibit no faith in the business they run, a point brutally made by CA.

Our CEO is clearly Sicilian given his vow of omerta. its a pity that the Board are similarly mute except to utterly destroy capital markets confidence in their collective ability to map out a credible strategy. God knows what happens next here, but what is clear is that Crystal Amber has lost faith in the useless bunch of has-been on the board. My view is that CA are beavering away behind the scenes on a number of fronts, given the greater optionality now available thanks to where Brent is now. What is utterly extraordinary is our own Board has effectively held a gun to s/holders heads saying that having kitchen sank the reserves that if the CPR doesnt pass muster the game is up for them. At which point all hell breaks loose

We all thought we were investing in an Oil discovery and production company. Seems the Board thinks actually they prefer running a savings bank, as they dont have to do anything except ensure that the monies from oil sales hit the bank vaults. No wondfer we are all so mightily ****ed off with them. An ATM machine could replace our entire board esp the CFO.

Clearly not up to the role. Complete silence for 7 months; no leadership shown, no sense he has gripped the business, no sense he understands the role of CEO is outward facing. Being kept well away from any public profile. I

This message hits the Greek's incompetence and manipulativeness firmly on the head. No board should have sanctioned a strike price that is below the moving average let alone at a price that may well put them immediately in the money in next 3-4 weeks if funding arrives. It is absolutely outrageous misuse of the incentives scheme

Having consistently mislead shareholders we now awake to the news of a dilutive shares award set at a ludicrous strike price of 2.55p. For christs sake where is the governance of this company. Ah yes we have an executive chairman...i forgot.

Seems ridiculous that Maris would join a business earmarked for the knackers yard with its cashflow, acreage, tax losses etc....but I really do not trust this woefully incompetent, craven, indecisive and seemingly out-of-theirc-corporate strategy-depth. Just a tired bunch of has-beens who seem totally misaligned with shareholders and a board that is not fulfilling its governance role one iota.

After sabre-rattling in Energy Voice, are they (a) accumulating more shares and bonds? (b) discussing with potential takeover candidates (3) readying a no-confidence EGM or (4) all the above

The answer is yes. They had a fund raise at 50p not long ago which was very oversubscribed and a lot of folk didnt get their allocation/wanted more. price then zipped up to 70+ and in absence of contract news etc has gently deflated helped I suspect by a few people banking profits from lower down. Valuing this is hard given it is loss-making but Hardman make a decent stab at it. This is a company to buy and hold for the longterm

And in the background the prospect that ST gets approached by a major group for a takeover which would have to be at a truly enormous premium given the time spent developing the tech, the market opportunity, the tight shareholding base and the ambitions of Bundred and the team.....

Watch this space: the timing of Hardman's bullish update, combined with brought forward results suggests to me that ST will be unveiling some good news alongside the results. Ignoring the share price, which waxes and wanes, the fundamentals of this business would appear excellent: OEM support, duopoly market, superb engineering tech, stable supportive s/holder base willing to fund expansion, cash in bank , clear road map, attuned to EV zeitgeist, and cherry on cake , the capital allowances boost announced by Sunak.

is due to the catalogue of disastrous RNS announcements seemingly designed to bring the shutters down on a business producing oodles of cash, with infrastructure, tax losses, acreage etc.....and hands up anyone who has an idea what Maris's strategy is, since he has been utterly silent since arriving, and that was almost 7 months ago

The level of communication has been woeful ; they seem hell-bent on destroying the company to preserve their tattered reputations. I have every sympathy with Crystal Amber here, as McTiernan and the woeful Smith et al have seemd on a mission to undermine their own company, exacerbated by their collective Pontius Pilate approach to governance which is utterly depressing.

Whats equally farcical is that given they have effectively shut up shop on doing any meaningful commercial work, is why they don't buy back some of the equity (notwithstanding the failure to do anything with the bonds) if they think we have a great future. Am not in the habit of defending folk on here but the brutal honest truth is that AIM O&G companies are often appallingly badly managed and normally for the benefit of the board and insiders ( Amerisur and GIles Clarke spring to mind -terrible management, over promised, but lots of acreage, pipeline, producing wells etc still shareholders got shafted).

I am an experienced exec and investor who too feels completely betrayed, first by Trice, and second by the Board and its advisers. We can wish the share price higher but the fact is that without a clear supported commercial strategy we're going nowhere and this at best becomes a cash shell.

The Board has done a truly disastrous job here. I do believe that the epic write down and subsequent flagging we are going bust were designed to save their arses. They had no intention of putting in place a commercial strategy or driving hard with the bondholders. Why, because (a) they had effectively announced the game is up and so no need for commercial strategy. All about flogging what they could and blaming Trice.. ...What they couldn't anticipate was $65+ oil, which has left them stark naked in front of shareholders and bondholders struggling to justify their inaction and so we have the distasteful spectacle of appalling treatment of CA, crap RNS, and as little info as possible... they are hiding basically.

What matters is

1. The CPR: if that is lukewarm , then there is no reason anyone will take the risk here
2. FWP: if above poor this is shelved and company gets sold off; if not still nothing happens till post bondholders paid off....
3. POO is serendipidous and one can easily ask where we would be with POO at $35)
