No one knows what goes on in the boardroom, but given the level of concern raised over the last 24 months about the stewardship of the company which has accelerated in last 12 months, collective cabinet responsibility operates. If any of them had concerns they should have resigned and reputationally they would have been fine. Now of course its a different matter.

Hang on a sec... they have been NEDs for a while and bought utterly paltry amounts in Sept. The whole point about being an NED is that you take on board the views of shareholders, lead and guide the strategy, and provide robust challenge (and support to the executive). They utterly failed in their duties as NEDs - both when Trice was in charge and subsequently. And yes what does Maris do?

'Trading' is a different mindset than 'investing'. Most of us here bought in on what we thought was a sound if risky business with assets, cashflow, and acreage. As investors, we own a slice of the company which is why so many of us were spitting nails by the utter arrogance of the Board, none of whom has a significant economic interest in the company. A disgraceful episode frankly.

Fair comment about the factory. Musk is running into difficulties in Germany re.gigafactory with the authorities I'm told so scouting in non-EU GB makes a deal of sense if only as a PR stunt and to test the waters on state aid (another contentious area post brexit). Like you I am slowly accumulating here too as given how little free float there is here, and the fact that all key shareholders are holding on tight, when we see some positive news emerge 2h, this should be back up in the 70s and 80s
