They werent allowed to that by the deeds....god nkows who negotiated this but basically Hur has to pay back at par plus interest.

Monies in bank and flowing; oil price expected higher; Bond due next year etc.....completely w/o precedent that a Board of directors has so comprehensively failed in its duty to shareholders...note no mention of 'shareholder' in Maris's comments. Crystal Amber will be looking at every legal avenue open to them. if they don't their reputation as activist shareholders will be seriously dented and Boards like ours will just ignore them....

I totally agree with you on the Atome point - investors remain wary of Levine not helped by the optics of having s/o called Nikita Levene in charge of investor relations.

and as a shareholder I hope that happens but long long professional experience in the UK equity markets tell me

1. Mr Market doesnt like this level of issuance esp with small caps
2. Investors wary of Levene rather than it just being an Argentinian issue - what sort of energy business is he creating and what is the strategy?
3. Small cap E&P sector is struggling to get investors interested ; that may change with Brent heading north but not yet

There are just too many shares in issue and the market makers do not want to get stuffed with it all on their books.

As others have noted, levene issues new shares at drop of a sombrero, and the result is that there are a mind boggling 2.03 billion shares in issue for this microcap. And the normal market size is just 20,000 shares i.e. the minimum number the market makers have to provide a quote for. it doesnt take a genius to work out that the amount of heavy lifting to get the sp moving is enormous. So its rich that Levene ranted about the share price being destroyed by International Finance Corp selling not so long ago, and yet he is the one who has allowed the expontential expansion in the share issuance. Crazy crazy crazy

not at all .....just that our Executive chairman has form and form and form. Would have much preferred tht post the death of the former chairman that H had stayed as CEO and an experienced mining hand had been appointed chairman. The fact that H stepped up to Exec chairman means there is literally no one on the board holding his feet to the flames, and he knows it, hence his elastic relationship with the truth...

Every way you look at this they shareholders have been poorly served by the CHairman and NEDs, excutive management team, and professional advisers. McTiernan is the real viallian of the piece here because as Chairman he did not exercise proper oversight

There was nothing in the presentation once one strips away the flim flam that moved the story on substantially imho. Timelines continue to stretch whatever excuses he mumble. The real flashing light for me is the reference to cash burn which if true , at £1m a month, make it odds on that Pinocchioknows that TK funding wont be done (at this rate I think Sept) and he takes out the begging bowl yet again. That is whats behind this webinar. Company is exploiting s/holders yet again FWIW - Solgold announced yet another surprise placing this morning prompting hand-wringing from lots of s/holders.
