I like the turnaround here, and I think it is fundamentally cheap, and now back to the dividend ranks. Brett Bundy thinks so too with his 8% stake. But I think we could this and other retail/leisure stocks go lower post Rachel Thieves dishonest budget that is going to thump employers. The lack of backbone and guts of the political class is shameful. Labour wouldnt be in this mess if they'd just had the balls to say income tax needs to go up across the board. People would have understood....

Newland raised cash at 15p in June with the interims ... a matter of weeks later they missed their own consensus by a country mile. Since then the sp has halved. Newland is totally responsible for this shambles. Dishonest springs to mind

Is it any wonder that Newland gets such poor press. The Board continues to do an absolutely woeful job in representing s/holders interests.

I hope you're right. Newland has a dreadful track record in delivering against his own forecasts either commercially or financially. What he has an Olympic gold medal for is consistently misleading & ramping. Why did sp take a tumble because (1) the interims were simply dreadful £1m of revs (against 1-1.3m forecast ) (2) Newlnad had it appeared lied about prospects for FY which were in line in June and then amazingly 50pc below when they reported last month

Memo to Sarah Barrington, CEO: it is 2 months since the Company released any news! How do you expect investors to keep faith when you have no newsflow, bar asking for more cash!!!!

Ashmore is delivering absolutely no value to s/holders. If anything sentiment has gone backward in last 12 months at a point where Speedy, VP etc have picked up the pace.

Adams is the ultimate snake oil salesman. Which year was it promised ? How many times has he said no need for more equity? How many shares has he rained down on shareholders ...over 6 billion ffs.

Renalytix s*** show with big cash raise, cancellation of NAsdaq listing etc etc etc ....lets hope Barrington can prove a better leader and steward of shareholder capital.

The Board should act. Everyone is sick to back teeth with the consistently dishonest communications from Newland & Griffiths. Firing Griffiths and replacing him with someone who will stand up to Newland and start to rebuild faith in the forecasting would be a good start. FWIW, I rang the company after the grim results and they refuse to take calls from shareholders -I was told to email....the arrogance is astounding

Shareholders are still awaiting a return that justifies caddying Barrington round the course for free. C'mon Sarah

Down another 10pc; you can buy at 7.5p..having supported Newland in June at 15p, he has f***** over his shareholders yet again. An absolute scandal

The scale and level of financial regulation is off the scale -post GFC, the Tories went full tonto, and now the ridiculous hoops that all financial instrituinos are forced to jump through has led to the only growth areas being compliance, legal, and associated consulting firms. Its no wonder the City despairs of a having a vibtrant financial service sector when FCA is more interested in placating Martin Lewis. Whatever happened to consumers taking responsibilty? The sheer cost of this is astronomical to UK plc.

And frankly the Berenburg has yet to show the slightest glimmer of originality, insight, or valuation nous. As house broker it’s a waste of time following their recommendation which appears to be a cut n paste of the interims with absolutely no insights ( apart from those provided to him by Laurel n Hardy aka Newland & Griffiths)

Given the positive outlook and multiple govt support for rare earth recycling & new sources outside China, am surprised that the sp is becalmed. All the pieces of the jigsaw are coming together. The issue, as ever, is funding all this growth & scale-up. UK small caps have a terrible track record in this area, so it looks like shareholders are very wary of putting serious support behind Mkango until it’s clear what funding landscape looks like and whether management has the bench strength & skill-sets to develop the business professionally and competently. Will watch with interest the newsflow, but pro tem, not minded to buy

What a fabulous job they are doing. Down 36% in a month after comprehensively missing their own forecasts, and after telling investors all was well in June. Utterly despicable

Revenues steady; cash generation is good ; net debt post Affini modest; £2.5M orders since June with Affini chipping in and Rail finally coming out of deep freeze. QRO still performing well but I note Abdullah's comment about FY may be behind revenue expectations due to order slippage.

Two things caught my eye:

1. Administrative expenses of £3m are up £500k on same period last year (£2,5m). Why is that ? Is that to do with Affini? Be good to know.

2. Total acquisiton costs were pretty chunky almost £1m ....(579k expensed YE 23, and the other 414k with these results.)
