Check the Greek's history of broken deadlines, porkies, money's in the post. It stretches way back further than the last autumn. IMHO Harry is in a race against the clock, he needs the financing in place before the bubble bursts in equity markets. Signs of excess are literally everywhere, and instead of being able to take advantage of it, he's stuck on hard shoulder. If markets crater before the ink is signed and the money in the bank, I'm afraid it's the end of him

Is this the best use of his time? May inflate his ego and make it seem that much progress has been made. The listing ship that is Hurricane is being kept afloat by (1) sudden revival in POO (20 parachuting on deck of a new captain (3) a belief that somewhere in the chart room are maps that show that there are decent reserves of water notwithstanding the geriatric Board's throwing overboard of every investment proposition they held so dear and (4) the appearance alongside of a buccaneer's vessel aka Crystal Amber that has taken a stake in the vessel on the basis that it is actually more seaworthy than it appears, and that if it isn't its scrap value is worth than they paid for their stake! Mean time the Board is busily preparing the only serviceable lifeboat aboard and stocking it with oars so they can row away at warp speed should it go keel up. All very depressing

And on the subject of board purchases....that depends on whether they are currently privy to price sensitive information and therefore in a close period........one for their GC to decide and the advisers

Absolutamente.......the problem is that this BoD are so scared sh&tle$$ of misleading the market and having themselves blamed after falling asleep at the wheel with Trice that every bloody RNS they put out accentuates the negative. We still have no clue what the corporate strategy is, and that is hardly surprising given that thanks to Trice and those bond holders the company is hanging on by its finger tips.....strategy has to take a back sit until such times as they get the bondholders on board. As long as POO stays perky, there is a slim chance that we don't all get diluted to hell and that the bond can be refinanced. But the fact that the BOD has still not shown any meaningful commitment buying shares themselves is in poker terms a huge tell.....

I am not.....I was and got burned by the Greek. I think the assets are great but I dont think he knows anything about running a mining operation. If financing is put in place then and only then will I reinvest but I can see this sinking lower as deadlines get missed again.

....without giving away the business. On past form the Greek has failed spectacularly to secure any financing, apart from handing over in desperation a large chunk of the compnay to Phillip at RAB who promptly tripled the cvalue of his investment. Utter genius Harry
