JJ good morning , not a chance after what he posted about me …did you think I would not defend myself ? relax and look after your own affairs please , I’m BS fake trader all my trades don’t exist according to him really , the poor guy got greedy thought he was getting a bargain buying and topping up at 378; 355, 347 and now he is angry throwing his toys out of the pram like crybaby as down a fortune ,had he read all my posts could of maybe saved a fortune …You take a break from here if you want not mention…..best wishes I’m going for a lovey coffee on the green with Chums , then maybe bash the credit card at beleive it or not wonderful M&S spend some of the money I made of them the last 2 years , I can’t post it as I’m told you are not allowed to post your success on here 😆😆

Tawse good interesting post I two have heard the very same opinions ..there is also a small issue in the menswear dept as Phillo mentioned sizing range availability I worked many years on Carnaby st and Kings Rd as a retail manager and the buyers are clearly not doing their job when placing orders ..the biggest error is the proportion of slim fit , skinny , and extra skinny fit esp on shirts way too many ,have you seen the shape and age of the average male M&S shopper !? 🤔

Retirement you are aware I’m holding no personal shares in MS ? retirement we all know how clever you are and the money you make you tell us everyday so why don’t you tell the room how much money your portfolio has lost on MS by not following me and selling the lot @ 393 a few weeks ago ? If you don’t know how to do it you take your total holdings get a calculator and multiply it by 60p then you post it ! 🙂

JDs good morning , I’m not trying to win a discussion and very surprised to see no one with a mind for buisness esp retail thinks just maybe I have a valid point you are correct M&S has a strong clientele of well off customers who probably don’t have to even look at the price but off the top of my head this would be less than 1% of the country ? Almost everyone will shop at Mand s at some point this xmass poss as much as 100% but !they will not be regular weekly food shoppers ,all I’m suggesting is yes have your customers that will probably stay but why not have a bigger piece of the pie by keeping prices a little more competitive?Im not suggesting cheap just competitive and bring in more revenue.

JDs Hello , yes sure but give some thought is it not also possible I may be right ? I have known retail all my life since I was 8 ,I also listen to people what they like and what they don’t ..maybe your are just being selective in what you read and what you choose to post ?…I prefer to tell a more real story I must of read 20 articles this week people moaning about M&S food prices … I was very pleased to see the possibility of 500 new foodhalls and thought this news would give hope for a quicker recovery,a boost but it don’t change the fact the share is falling …I’ll even go as far as to say as bad as it is I have concerns the price could fall even further this week odd as Xmas round the corner 🤔… look ,all I’m suggesting is M&S takes the foot off the gas a little in its gross markup margins better to sell a million turkey crowns @ £49 than 100,000 @ £60.

Yes I am told I am a good trader by my fellow directors of my small family company

but they are all LTH investors still holding some stocks I bought for them 45 years ago including ! a stack of M&S ,I’ve now handed that portfolio over to my nephew,I don’t trade personal stock much these days only a little for the thrill of the chase! that’s my pleasure.

Hello JJ , M&S dropping to below 300 is not important to share holders Really !!!?even those that bought at 410 6 months ago ? I’m not too sure about that .. also JJ ,I did recommend lloyd & NWG a few weeks ago and I was right unfortunately did not have the funds .. whilst you are having a pop at me are you not the chap that offered me a wager that M&S would be over 4.10 by the 15th Jan ? then your not that clever either… good luck but play nice I don’t really see what you have to gain by putting me down here , do that when I’m wrong

Fender says this year will end with M&S SP sitting way below expectations on 305 - 325 , why !? many reasons daily running costs to operate for one , competition from Tesco but mainly because as I’ve mentioned many times ! chocking the drain with their exorbitant food hall prices on basics like bacon , pies , meat , fish , pasta , ready meals , burgers , lamb .. I think many of you /us brush this under the carpet as we chat with sayings like M&S shoppers don’t care about the price ? trust me many feeling the pinch do ,wealthy people who have savings, investments , stocks and shares yes we are very fortunate but there is not enough rich pockets to keep M&S. trollies full , and don’t even think of telling me “ Fender what about the quality !?” Yes it’s good but at a ridiculous premium shoppers are not stupid,look at my forecasts over the last 2 years ..but hey ! you know best buy buy buy ,please don’t waste your time insulting me now but you can do that on Dec 31st when I’m wrong 😉.

JJ yes indeed I was very disappointed in M&S SP performance post the long awaited hyped 5th of Nov report and I made a suggestion on here 3 weeks ago to look at banks split your Investment in 2 put half into NWG the other in Lloyds ,just checked today both safe yet permed well ,did I put my money where my mouth was ? sadly no 🙄, too many negative warnings from peeps way more qualified than myself though not blaming anyone I take full responsibility

As to our M&S wager ? I was hoping for an exciting close finish , then it looked like I was running away with a win But! looking at the last 2 of days epic rises looks like you’re back in the ring ,anything is possible and still about 7 weeks to go ,good luck to you and all investors Fender 🙂

Ps though a sado for not acting on my Bank research I did get 393 for my M&S stock weeks ago

Now on a more real and interesting note I was in the lovely M&S Kew branch this morning 11.30 ish food hall very very busy , with much new and exciting products and not just for Xmas , many shoppers trollies piled high and checkouts 3 -4 deep , before leaving I exited through clothing and home furnishings mmmmm🤔 a very different story spookily quiet I’m sorry to say with a handful of peeps trolling through the sales rails

JDs15 I too think you a good man … but if you read back a day a man I don’t know David 7015 a man I have done no wrong to not even chatted to out of the blue spends an hour going through all my posts years backs and yes ofcourse my estimates change mine weekly ,then calls me out saying I’m a liar , a Walter Mitty character and a bu..ll s..tter that I don’t own the stock I claim .. c,mon do you think that’s ok ?? david david divid listen to yourself please.. grow up be a man! you spent hours digging up and posting my past only to post the negative, go back and look again how many many many many times i warned people in the last 6 months m&s was way overheated at 412 and post that … the long awaited super results on the 5 th were a disaster that why the price crashed ,can’t you see this !!!!?… i can’t post my success on my m&s trades as told i’m showing off so post my losses , are you happy to bet your life i don’t sadly own 17333 shares ? no i thought not .. your the bu ll ****ter not me!!
