I understand your dilemma but that is a decision which you will have to make yourself. I think the consensus is that the full year’s accounts will be very good. It is the overhang from the cyber attack and the likely impact on the current year’s profits which is impossible to determine at this stage. There is talk of insurance cover and inevitably there will be some insurance compensation. Whether it will cover the full amount of the losses is anyone’s guess.

I bought again on Monday at just under 350p on the basis that this is a well run business with increasing profits. Good luck with whatever you decide.,

So where you point out I only made 4.5% have you not lost !😞 a total of 7% ( including lost interest ) ?

Surely you don’t think my decision not to buy at today’s price was based solely on just Dinoken post a £1 a share possible ? of course not like you I have been buying and selling M&S many many times since 1981 when in proportion price was much higher …however may I ask you a question if this turnaround is so fantastic! and the future so bright why is the share price sitting 23p LESS ! than a year ago ? Your explanation please without using the word cyber too many times cause we both know this excuse is wearing thin now a factor yes but not the sole reason for the terrible SP performance in this period …..I must give credit though for past performances bringing a 95p. stock to 400p in 4 years 👏👏👏. summing up i believe it may be possible to buy in / top up at even less than 353 within the month maybe even as much as 10 less that’s my forecast , I do wish you every success in all your investments Best Fender .

JDS Hi ,Im not saying you are correct I’m not saying you are wrong 🤔,but would I be correct in saying the main purpose /reason for you posting is to try and protect your holding stock sinking further ? you don’t mention anything negative in the tough terrain facing M&S in 26 mainly rising costs knowing they can now not recover this with more price rises as reaching unaffordable, in food hall,I heard they tried last week to sell 2 slices of bread for £4.50 tut tut .. I also hope Dinoken forcast to be not as bad as painted but you can’t deny we were told 450 likely a year ago and here we are closer to £3.10 than £4.10 🤷🏻. Good luck in your crusade and I hope there is a little recovery on the horizon soon .
