My take on the Stockbox interview for what it’s worth16 Oct 2025 16:28
Just watched the very frank interview with Graham Hill. Firstly I must say that I like his style, he is and talks like an engineer and answers the questions honestly (if only we had politicians that could do the same). Anyway, on to the interview, I did manage to take some notes. In no particular order these were some of the key messages :-
The resource has very good quality clean ore
As an engineer (with proven ability) GH wants to take a different and right approach and is arranging a design audit to look at all aspects of the plant. The problems they have encountered have largely been to do with the connecting parts of the plant (pumps/pipes/water balance …etc). These are historic problems, which he is now addressing.
These design audit is to take place over the next two weeks and necessary changes implemented
He explained that additional funds are needed now, partly so that any changes that need to be implemented following the design audit are made
He also admitted, quite frankly, that they don’t want to have to go through another placing and that other options for finance are being explored
The ‘large trading house’ are satisfied with the resource quality
Interestingly the interviewer asked GH whether he was intending purchasing shares and he admitted that he had asked the Nomad if he was intending purchasing shares an open period, which at present he isn’t, so is unable to purchase shares. My opinion only, but I believe he will purchase when he can
I am happy with all the answers he gave to the questions posed and still firmly believe that the right steps are being made to progress this huge resource towards production, whenever this may be. If GH cannot make this happen, nobody can. Enough said.
