Raaydaar - you say that “large holders of say 30-40 million shares should exit their positions and cut their losses”.

How would this ‘cut’ their losses ? For those who are already showing a paper loss, their best bet in my opinion would be to reduce their loss by staying until production when the balance of probability will see a huge surge in the SP.

Selling out entirely will just crystallise their loss, guaranteed. Not very good advice in my opinion.

Well said AlertRNS, couldn’t have put it better myself. There certainly are some daft people on this BB who can’t even read an RNS.

The reason the share price may go up…….sentiment…..and to be fair to GH, he’s hardly been in the job 5 minutes, he has to be given the time and resources to fix this, it’s a huge plant which wasn’t built properly in the first place.

That would be nice Acker. As you said earlier, we could do with a warm RNS leading up to the GM, which will help.

Jag, why are you surprised at the low trading volume ?

The reason that we now have a period of relative inertia is uncertainty; you often see that with stocks. Very similar with another stock I hold EME, which has had incredibly low volume for a while now because we are waiting for news of a sale or farm down. You know as well as I that when we get a decent RNS the volumes will fly. Equally, if the RNS is poor we will also see high trading volume.

If we do get a placing the shares will sell if the perception is that there will be a positive outcome.

Acker may be referring to the ‘all in’ analogy 🤔

Maybe we’ll get an RNS which blindsides us all regarding funding, with less reliance on dilution. PREM have stated it’s actively engaging with new potential investors with advanced discussions with several ‘interested parties’ for funding its projects.

GH will be willing to form new joint ventures and partnerships I’m sure, if it leads to a positive outcome for all.

LLama, as and when EME receive funds for a farm down or sale, I would like to see shareholders partially rewarded but some funds held back for some additional ventures. I don’t believe Tom Kelly would have just wanted to shut up shop after Mako. Just IMO though

Permanent CEO needs to announced ASAP, so that Gaz B can stand down as temporary CEO and so that investors know who is driving the strategic direction of EME to achieve its goals. We need someone with fire in their belly and a great communicator.

That is assuming of course that we get a placing at 0.1 which is, at the moment, speculation…let’s just wait for the facts shall we….

Jag, I’ve already told you I’m in for the long term, so being 85% down would only be painful if I intended selling then, which I don’t. If we then see a good rally over the coming months based on GH having the funds to ‘get on with the job’ , then any short-term pain will have been worth it

Acker, I agree with your sentiment. Some I suppose would see this as counter-intuitive, given that their holding is about to be diluted. However, the market will see this as a signal it will be funding future growth and lead to long-term investor value, amongst other things……..

Let’s hope there’s some positive news on Mako to put in that report 🤞

- you are correct, I was buying in the mid 20’s, but then I’m not mystic Meg; so we’re many others

- that also follows that you are also correct, I’m 50% down there, but then I’m not playing a short game or trying to trade, so c’est la vie

- you will see shortly that I wasn’t the only one voting ‘for’

I look forward to you eventually congratulating myself and other genuine investors on staying the course. My belief is that GH is PREM’s only hope and that he will be successful in his endeavours to turn things around, which are long overdue.

Could do with some news to bring some interest back; even the appointment of a permanent CEO to replace Tom Kelly would be a start.

I was expecting perhaps a TR1 or notification of share transfer following Tom’s death, but on researching he only owned around 2.35% of the issued share capital of EME, so not a big number (ironically about the same number as me now). I suppose it will take a while to settle Tom’s estate, so perhaps may not hear news on that front for a bit.

Steward1, I very much got that feeling from the Stockbox interview too. He definitely wanted to say more about past mistakes but held back. You could see in his demeanour and the way he talks about PREM that he understands what’s wrong with the plant and is itching to get it fixed. It’s a bit like taking over someone’s botched building job. This guy knows PREM and the plant though, as he visited the site on more than one occasion before becoming MD. There’s no way he would have got involved if he didn’t think he could turn it around, his reputation is at stake.
