You are entitled to your view Jedi but it really dDoesn't work like that Jedi. The original scheme is off the table at this point and it has never been consented. The locals were objecting to both size of the built development amd lorry movements. Both have been reduced but these.are subjective and emotive issues for any committee. Its for them to balance it all out.

Yes, it would be appealed where it would be heard by an inspector appointed by the SoS. I would expect the app'n to be approved if it reaches that stage as the national policy is strong, not to mention the recent winds of change

Before the Ukraine crisis I was expecting an appeal. Now I am expecting an approval, but equally I would be not a bit surprised if it is refused. It is a locally contentious apolication and some councillors may be strongly swayed by those views

How many planning committee meetings have you ever witnessed Selfish? With a contentious scheme like this the local level decison is always in the balance. Pre-Russia / Ukraine it was highly likely to be refused. It will be decided by the prevailing politics at this specific point

I'll take it back if I am wrong but I don't think there can be any real debate about this. A lead sulphide product seems very unlikely to be what Nanoco is offering, a company I have been closely following and invested in for c.15 years and hence whilst I think ST Micro getting a good contract will be v. good news, we will be a little further behind on their product development track for some customers, but maybe not all - Apple would be an obvious exception, but equally this requires ongoing R&D to catch up with the performance levels of traditional (heavy metal) offerings. The suggestion here was focus on 8 March Apple presentation but in my view that expectation is too early.

That's a crazy statement. Nanoco does not use Heavy metals. That's the whole USP and ethos of the company.

Nanoco produces cadmium free dots; other producers make the cadmium variety. That's always been the differentior for display. For these infra red sensors the heavy metal element in the incumbent technology is another kind instead (lead sulphide). Needless to say Nanoco isn't using lead sulphide either. Tell me where it says ST Micro ared about to launch a non lead sulphide alternative? I see nothing said about that , and nothing predicted for QD applications before 2023

Nanonano, but why do you think that ST Micro will be using cad fee dots (Nanoco's dots) when its main technology offering is based on lead sulphide quantum dot thin films? Cad free alternatives may eventually catch up technically but this still in the future, don't you agree?

hypothesis. I just don't think it will be something which helps Nanoco at this stage. The market always knows best and it suggest I am right.

I feel pretty sure ST Micro will indeed be selling their SWIR and NIR sensors soon, but it won't be non-cadmium QDs they'll be using. The shares price alone tells me that, and nothing that I have read previously makes me think that cad-free QD product development in STM sensors can match the same performance. For me therefore, its all eyes on the court case. I can't help believe the market is wavering on that too now that everyone has digested the Samsung reply. To my eye the defence is not total carp. However, I am still long on Nanoco and also tempted to buy another tranche as I think the case will progress to the main hearing sure enough, and we will get an offer to settle. That's when the really difficult decision will have to be made.

I'd twist the banner around - How can anyone sensibly argue a brutal war with Russia does not seriously affect cruising with rapidly escalating fuel costs, and food costs....? Look at the impact on fertilizer and food production. Russia behaves as it does because it knows the degree of Western dependency. The rest of us are just waking up to it.
