Nanoco’s CFQD® quantum dot material is an alloy of indium and other elements (so it is not InP Qd).

It sure is. I have just added 31,007 shares at 32.25p. I've not given much value to Guident until now but I think there is good value in that company over a medium to long time horizon, maybe 2-3 years, but hopefully sooner.

I guess this might have spawned from the 2022 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas (see Feb RNS) -

I wouldn't be too sure about that as I have never seen Nanoco mentioned in connection with graphene. The composition would be disclosed in the patents presumably. Important to understand how we might be affected by RoHS.

Did we ever get to the point of reaching clarity on what materials Nanoco uses? Is it commercially sensitive? A lot of infrared sensors use lead in the circuitry solder for instance but this is generally permitted. Are the materials used by Nanoco free of lead (Pb) which is banned under ROHS but still benefits from current exemptions which are up for renewal. ..?

Has anyone delved into what arguments Samsung has set out to assert non 'infringement' at the trial? If they fail at PTAB do they re-mould their argument by claiming that their own manufacturing methods are a patentable 'alternative' to the Nanoco IP, or is it something else? Maybe someone here has considered this point
