Everyone should re-read the RNS. I would say unequivocally the RNS is setting an expectation for there to be more announcements BEFORE the investor presentation on Tuesday 11 February 2025.

The Samsung of litigation will continue to hang over this company because what incentive is there for any prospective purchaser to pay market rate when it can just "Buy now" pay later, as it were. Maybe the difference is that the new broom of the current board will have a much better idea of how to handle contract negotiations and potential litigation so that Investors won't have to carry so much fear of the same type of capitulation happening once again.

So why did they not just opt for Zanaga instead?

That's one way to kook at it Sammy. But Leopards don't change their spots and the Board has never been good at securing a valuable return on its IP. Here's the actual reason (IMO):

- The cloak of commercial confidentiality hides a target valuation that is somewhat lower than what anyone would say is reasonable.

- It will be set at a level which virtually guarantees that directors will benefit from a sale.

I can almost smell the next wave of disappointment to come. Popcorn ready.

Yup, I heard that "both projects" bit and thought it had gone unnoticed. That's the value of closely watching a share for a long time. I doubled my holding here in the mid 5's which seemed a decent price on this news. This has to be looking good with news to come in the early part of 2025.

It's a very good company update and all the signs are that things will keep getting better. I am a very happy to be holding long term.

Smthymoneybox, not total rubbish if the writer was referring to the Veblen or Giffen paradox.

Remind me again how much value they extracted for IP sales worth more than $1bn to the company according to their own conservative litigation analysis.

Let's hope they can get one-tenth of what it's supposedly worth
