Not so likely in my opinion due to rns reporting duties. This quote from the rns of 11 December does though indicate we might be seeing a final construction decision in parallel with a binding commitment from the potential strategic investor.

" look forward to working with the Arise team to rapidly advance the Mineral Export Facility to a construction decision, alongside the Zanaga Project's associated mine and infrastructure facilities."

There were some very good posts on here and "the other board" over the weekend. I cannot compete with that level of research, or at least not without total reliance on AI tools.

As I see it the long-term strategic significance of Zanaga is undeniable. My simple take on events (birds eye view….) is that the major question remains as to what does the short-term hold in terms of deal-making, and will we find a new baseline north of 8p, and if so, by how much, after the news event on 11th February has been concluded. My instinct as an investor is that there will be some good cheer in store but maybe nothing so concrete and immediate that we will straight away see a rise to a multiple of today's share price, which is, after all, why the shares can still be bought for 8 pence.

I look in here from time to time wondering if it might be a good time to re-invest.

I don't fully understand what has happened to the managed service contract in the DRC. Has this been derailed for political reasons, but if so, why no RNS? I find it strange that the company is talking about recurring revenues when it hasn't received any such revenues at all!

You WOULD spend real money on designing a multi billion dollar port if there was no deal in place/in hand for a "real" user of the port (not just groups competing with no committment yet). Just to clarify the port thing.

Yes, I pointed this out myself, but I think some investors misread the RNS. The 'in person' briefing is set for 11/2/25 with news to be released before that date. That's what it says, its plain on its face.

I'm with Mitch. Investors need to be realistic about valuation gap between current day and future. 10p is a good value entry unless there is no deal coming of any kind. We will know all by 11/2/25.

Size is part of the equation. It cuts both ways. Strategic finances are required on a global scale. Zioc directors can not just pop to the bank for a loan, and as others have pointed out, Glencore has valuable distribution rights. I would shy away from the higher sale valuations which have been bandied around here. Ultimately the market will decide

Not really. It's a market. No-one is forced to make a better offer than the market deserves. Let's wait and see.
