Can we keep this thread for VDTK discussion please? Anyone who wants to converse with Jaknife should do so on ADVFN only, but I recommend not engaging with him.

I dont know about anyone else but to me it feels like this particular storm in a tea cup has blown over now anyway. I dont feel nervous because it is just a tactic I have seen used on many other companies before. But I can see this company is making great strides forward, although I do think it is something that should have been cleared up when RR took over. That would have been preferable to doing these things on the back foot now, as if it had been cleared up there would be nothing more to say. That was an error in my view, and companies tend to learn from this sort of thing (I expect RR will do), but to draw any other conclusions is fanciful, and ultimately any setback we may see in the market this week will be fleetingly brief in my opinion.

I have not read the TW piece and dont intend to read it. The company should probably have cleared up what happened with the Nigerian deal. I did think of this myself before investing and was prepared to put it down to the long grass on the basis that the company has moved on. On reflection it seems to have been a mistake that the company did not clarify this before now. But that's as far as it goes IMO.... Or did we buy Cloud tag too?

You have obviously done your research so just interested by your beat guesstimate on cash in bank bearing in mind they did raise relatively recently and there was a conversion last week. I also hold a large stake but not as much as 1%

Being a slightly long in the tooth AIM investor I just groan, but it is also sensible to assume that people like this have skin in the game and won't just back down with a bit of reasoning. Hopefully the company will let the good news do the talking, and a new policy of increased transparency, frequent market reporting and shareholder engagement could be valuable part of that starting soon. RR would be a good spokesperson in that role, I think.

Now there could be a million good reasons why the Nigerian order did not complete..... Only in a theoretical world where every order announced results in product delivered AND cash in the bank does the above statement hold true.

Seen it all before with TW. He personally hates the fact that Mike Walters has always been more successful, and is vastly more respected due to something TW lacks - integrity. Just see how TW runs his site, it is awful. The fact is, these tactics do generally work for his type of crowd. You know it when certain posters pop up here there and everywhere. I feel sorry for the less experienced investors who might well panic when the share price crashes. A susbscription to Mike Walters should be top of everyone's list for Monday.

Time for a little perspective-

Verditek is currently gunning for a 1% share of the £5bn per annum market in flexible lightweight solar panels. That would sell out the 50MW Italy factory, which would justify a valuation at 10x current share price.

But the RNS states that it is "major confirmation of the Company's  leading position in the large-scale, portable, rapidly deployable, ultra-lightweight solar market from a respected International group."

A 1% share of the market is clearly not going to be the limit of ambition for the market leader. The potential here is truly massive, and the company is delivering right on cue.

Vuzix doing Heads up display - more futuristic and expensive. I'm not sure there is an immediate market for that tech. I prefer the Lucyd proposition which is to add functionalty with same design form and cost as ordinary spectacles

Dont be ridiculous - masks are not a 'fear prop'. What they are is a desperate and probably ineffective attempt to control the virus which is not going away any time soon - which is bad news for traditional retailers and of course, cinemas.

Fairview it was hostage to fortune when they said next news would be in the very near term. There was no wriggle room with that. I think we should retain confidence and buy on dips which are overdone.

I am looking for 50MW sales in 2021, with evidence of that being proven over next 3-6 months. That is reasonable and achievable, and possibly too conservative. Any news on further factory capacity would help to demonstrate confidence. 50MW would deliver a handsome multiple on today's valuation and it's only about 1% of the annual addressable market.

Very much doubt that !! It's a sign of flaky holders after massive gains. You can sell, hold or buy more. Same choice as always. I have not remotely considered selling but will review that position again in Q1 2021. It's the best timeframe to judge the company performance, and I think 50MW will be in view at that stage.
