I can't really see why they would need money now, seeing as they spent money on the factory set up for 50MW and they are just paying commission on sales to the extra staff. All the focus will be on Orders, and maybe some news on what they intend to do with the additional Portugal factory lines.

It would make sense if it helps fund quicker expansion, but I guess that depends on the speed of initial orders. If it is a slow start not a wave then maybe they will cope without a raise. Either way, it would be done from a positive place.

I got lucky, that's all (for now!). Yes, I hold a few in AIM - right now, JAY, NANO, TEK, ZIOC, EDEN - but those could change. I might have to sell a few and spread it around a bit more, however I am doing better not doing it that way. Not all green, but I would generally tend to favour that sector. I have a particular affinity to solar due to a bit of family history. Maybe that's why I was bold with my investment here, I don't know really but I was quick to take the plunge.

Bananaman if it's not too much of a personal question how much can you sell / do you hold?

Maybe 2-3MW in total though? It wont take many orders like these to fill a factory.

Someone made the point on advfn - if producti for the oil and gas order is starting now but not being shipped until Sept does that bot suggest 2 months of the factory production, or one-sixth of 20MW, so about 3.3MW?

Main market for such vehicles will be last mile deliveries. I also had the idea of mini ice cream vans for seaside resorts- so watch this space!? First micro-depot already set up in Westminster. I'm interested in the planning policy side post Covid, which is more supportive now.

Ok thanks. I had the same thought as you, so that's a pity. I spent years following Torotrak and I think CVT would be very good for this type of application. They see their real USP as software/data, thought it seems a bit surprising

There is no doubt solar will add benefits to the basic EAV modules, particularly since heavy batteries are so bad for driving range. EAV presumably will have by now accumulated a full list of certified data - they can get this with the Revonte system. The India battery factory deal with XNRGI does not relate to EAV as far as I know. It would use the Govt subsidies on offer to hit the massive Tuk Tuk market (retrofitted)

EAV they were due to showcase at the 2020 show which was sadly cancelled. Great little company, especially once they get the Revonte gear programmed into it.

This indicates Solbian just buy their panels from SunPower too, so the same limitations apply as you have already pointed out. It may be too obvious to point out but Paragraf, world leaders in graphene solar technology, chose to work with VDTK not SunPower.

Also, the original hope was a 30% driving range increase so the website indicates it performed even better than hoped in the practical trials (40% increase in range)

Parob - cross board reply I have been checking the EA mV website regularly thwy updated it about 2 weeks ago (and it has a bit of a glitch on the news page.). Nevermind that though. One thing I spotted with the changes is that they ARE now offering a solar vehicle option which was not being offered there previously. This can only be good news on the solar testing which as you say should be wrapped up this month or maybe already has, given this positive outcome.
