You won't be disappointed, it was ultimately what finally convinced me to ditch WSG - it's a place to share ideas and learn just about anything and everything. More investors should do it, really. The bulletin boards are fun, but that is really all they are (and not always fun!). Getting in here at sub 3p is helping me recover a lot of past mistakes!

On another note, God help us all if this becomes a mirror of the WSG board. Not everyone there, but you do know who I mean. This forum has been a breath of fresh air in comparison. And long may it continue that way.

MW - It's the best on the web. I've been subscribing 20 years. VDTK is is rather leftfield pick for most of the posters on his site but Mikey is fond of the odd bit of blue. There is undoubted quality amongst the people who give their time on that forum, and most of all it is polite and civil.

It sure beats listening to Doubleheadedwombat all day doesn't it weathergeek.. ;-)

DBarlow that is exactly what I am saying. In fact, advanced XNRGI tech has the capability of embedding batteries in the panels themselves.

I believe many people have focussed on Paragraf (which I agree is massively important for the future) but they will have overlooked the transformational commercial possibilities for solar which will come about just by making continued improvements in battery storage capability. It is the Holy Grail for renewables, and the signs are good when you look at what XNRGI has to offer at very low capex (95% cheaper than traditional lithium ion), and also lightweight.

Hi Cat - interesting comments. I think you are right to keep eggs in one basket when it comes to AIM. Why did you choose VDTK, and how did you hear about it?

Can VDTK not just licence out factory production?

I am already holding more than any sensible man should , but still very tempted to average up as we go along on this particular journey. It looks mighty cheap to me.

As a veteran Nanoco watcher I am conscious that cadmium product is a complete "no no" commercially, and soon it will be banned. So that wipes out a LOT of the competitors in the thin film category.

This is fast becoming THE AIM stock that does not disappoint. Pinching myself now.

His name pops up a lot making predictions here and there, but has he ever got something right .....? I tend to put him in the mystic meg category. A source of amusement maybe, but one never knows if he's reading the chart upside down by mistake.

The ex-poster came across as a scientist type, great with detail but not so good at seeing the wood for the trees. Someone who was wedded to the belief that investment returns are in direct proportion to time spent researching, and that the more one understands the technology the better the outcome. An honest approach, but a skewed one perhaps. Is that fair? In my book Nanoco has cutting edge technology but that does not mean it is inevitably going to succeed. It does have a useful bank f patents though, as the current litigation proves, and I reckon current fair value of all that is somewhat higher than the SP.

The date I first invested, was (I think) 2009. And I still think it is an excellent long term investment, with maybe a deal in the offing at any time from roughly this point onwards. There is really no point being here though if you are betting everything on a short term solution .
