Banaman you are right of course. I just assumed they were sells but they could easily have been buys on the way up. In fact, it is my guess they were buys as there was some new buying from the Equity Story team and their membership around then

I assume DHC has exited here now leaving you all high and dry. What a lovely chap he surely is. Punting on a rescue is what it is, not a terribly safe investment. Good luck it comes good for all those that do hold, but people like DHC should be ignored if not banned.

Not sure either, but usually occurs when there is heavy trading. A bit surprised by the muted share price response today. I can only guess that there must be a lot of traders / punters expecting a retrace in the usual fashion. I am not so sure that will happen myself given the forward looking statement to come in a few days, and the prospect of new deals being announced on one of many fronts. I would be doubtful that today's news represents any more than just a start, but I admit it has come more quickly than even I expected, which is very encouraging. If one trial 'proves' the technology works then there really is no reason why we can't convert all of the many opportunities on offer. It is essentially a cost-saving platform technology.

Lots of good research on Michael Walters site on VDTK - admittedly this is on the more speculative side of what they tend to cover - it's full of informed comment. This was tipped there at under 3p and there have been many winners over the years, and recently.

Ps. I am fully invested but any signs of sales of the existing panels in H2 2020 will be a green light signal to load up a lot more.

Rather than output per panel, on size terms, an increasingly important measure ( e.g for EV applications) is power per kg. This is ultumately where the industry takes off - especially if you can combine the solar technology with lightweight batteries. If the XNRGI tie up in India leads to commercial sales for rickshaws etc... then there will be no stopping it. And that's before graphene. Graphene just blows then lid off everything IF they can get the manufacturing sorted out too.

The other way to look at it is production equirements for potential applications. The figures are approx for 1MW of power output:-

- 200 lorry roofs (18 panels)
- 200 domestic rooftops (18 panels)
- 1 drilling rig (oil and gas)

Take your pick on a car park roof or industrial building rooftop where the usable area is much bigger than a domestic rooftop.

So it is not too difficult to fill the existing manufacturing capability when orders start. We would need to open a lot more factories if the panels are in demand.

This is just the start for XNRGi. The business has had $80m of investment pumped into it.

Hallquist says the development of this battery technology was supported by an $80 million investment from Intel and Motorola, as well as public sources like the U.S. Navy and Department of Energy. Her company has exclusive rights to sell these batteries to utility companies in North America and is looking to start shipping them early next year.

Trading Lad I agree - I don't think Salarius seriously harbour any real hopes that the SaltMe brand will suddenly become a major selling to rival Pepsico snack products. It is proof of concept though, and a real taste test for consumers.

It's easy to see why this is could be a revolutionary moment for solar / lithium ion battery solutions when you see how Paragraf/ Verditek could potentially combine thier super conductive and light graphene panels with a lightweight and heat resistant battery storage solution like the one XNRGI is making. I believe the batteries can actually be embedded into the solar panel itself. There are mind boggling possibilities with that. It looks like a bit of fortunate timing for them and us.

Ddubya- I had seen that on Emanate myself. The company is trading but only just. I suspect theirs is a cost issue. You maybe saw like I did that Pepsico had their Designer Salt. I have been wondering if they gave ip too soon and whetheri we actually picked up their IP from that? Timing is everything with a product like this. I get the sense snack companies have not had much pressure to change in the past. The Mexico regulatory move doea change things on that score.

I wholly endorse Trading Lad's comments on sh!7 shower boards having had to endure an onslaught by derampers for many months on WSG - all of whom were purposefully wrong.

By the way Lord Willetts is a smart guy '- he has a position both here and VDTK and look at that one go just now. I was lucky enough to enter that at the same as this, but the potential here is just as good.

Sticking to your own investments...? I'd say your mantrs is more about manipulating people, as it's the only way you know. Above-average investor perhaps/ below average individual.

"Noobz I was one of the biggest supporters of Intu against all the deramping of @sain and several others and it paid off handsomely as the share price virtually trebled. I am going to say no more than being an ardent tracker of WSG and knowing it inside out that things are transforming very quickly there and it won't be long before the share price reflects that. I have no desire to see you switch existing funds out of Intu and it is merely mentioned as a suggestion for spare cash diversification that should increase well in value.

This news also fits the same narrative in relation to the Verditek / XNRGI tie up. Lightwieght batteries combined with lightweight solar would totally transform the EV market for small delivery vehicles. The market for that In India is huge and the adoption of EVs is being hastened by Covid effect.

Let's hope it does as well as INTU, eh DHC? The rise didn't last long did it. I assume you took profits at the very peak and bought at the very bottom yet again.
