Scary, I joined iii on Feb 6th 2000. 20 years on and still skint lol.
Interesting looking back at some of the historical posts on iii RKH bb. Just a few extracts for a little Sunday morning light relief: -
GC_Trader - Jul 17 (the real slippery street)
"as for the ramping crews ‘smart money arriving ahead of the game changing approval news’
well it doesn’t sound like SL approval is very imminent to me… in fact its probably slipped another rung down the capex ladder pecking order… yep… word on the real slippery street today was… in light of our ‘world class’ Mexico discovery we might yet dump the FI and concentrate our efforts and cash in Mexico… "

"Tony Durrant has clearly stated that good progress is being made in the Falklands and sanctioning is still set to be 2018.So all the talk of Pmo delaying SL now because of the Mexican discovery is Pure Nonesence! (sic)
Pmo’s Mexican discovery is good news for Rockhopper shareholders and the doubters will be disappointed when the finance package for Sea Lion is announced."

"2024 GCT. I keep saying it but no-one listens."

"I do not currently hold Argos Resources, and I see them as the most risky of four remaining minnows in the Falklands campaign. I sold my shares after the first CPR (as I said at the time) at 25-30p, and haven’t seen a reason, from a fundamentals perspective, to reinvest yet. However, looking at Fridays movement, had I followed F22 Raptors advise on this BB just a day or two earlier, I could’ve been sitting on a decent trading profit. But, I guess you are asking me from a geological technical perspective.
If you look at the four wells being planned in the NFB, (Zebedee, Sealion west, Jayne, Isobel) they are four strong locations, based on a the amount of oil you could find, and the chance of success. If you rank the targets remaining in the NFB, the next best one is the Rhea stack in PL01. You could certainly make a strong case for Rhea to be in the next campaign, based on its size, and certainly if the F3 targets of Jayne and or Isobel work, it would make the case for Rhea all the stronger.
I sincerely hope Rhea is drilled in the 2015-2016 campaign."

"If I could give details of what I am about to say, I would, but I have been warned myself without details.
I have been bluntly told that if I hold any FI stocks, to sell. For whatever reason, I can only presume that negotiations have fallen through. I have spent the day trying to get some more out of what I was told, but unsuccessfully so far.
Anyway, fwiw, I am now out of all FI’s - at a loss I may add."
