Yes, Cheltenham was just one event but to me and I'm sure many others was so obvious it was going to cause problems down the line. Agreed that people still arriving from abroad and not being checked is madness. That said, up until now, there seems to be people that either think they are immune or that it will never happen to them. Lets hope the effects of this lockdown really start to kick in soon.

I'm not sure that the surgical type masks being worn can provide the best protection against a virus. Not all of the air you breath in will be drawn through the filter if you have gaps between the mask and your skin. I would think the best protection would be from a mask that completely seals the nose and mouth and has a filter element that filters particles smaller than the virus.

Black swan event has had a massive impact on us all. It will eventually pass and we can all start to rebuild. Markets will pick up again, they always do. Until then, keep safe everyone.

Who'd have thought a few weeks ago that a 40% rise would result in us being at 6p. You couldn't make it up. I fear any decent rise we get from OM will be heavily sold in to and we end up back at 16p.

I presume it was you asking on the ADVFN board why there has been a delay on the courts announcing the outcome of the PMO case? My understanding is that the Judge has up to 14 days to make a decision.

Sadly, the good advice being put out there by knowledgeable doctors appears to be getting ignored. People still heading to popular spots to get 'fresh air'. All non food shops should close and revert to mail order. Apparently we still have planes arriving from Iran and Italy? Madness. Lots of stories in the news of the elderly being taken out today for Mothers Day. Crazy.

Hoping he's wrong but guessing he won't be far off the mark. London needs to tighten up further and set the example to the rest of the country. Personally not taking any chances and staying away from others as much as possible. Sadly though, people will carry on as normal.
