"I think VISI-Series and VISI-Flow are underrated software products. New and existing customers constantly ask me 'What design software do you use?' When I mention the name VISI, most of the time they are not familiar with it. However, there are other CAD products in the industry that the inquisitive are very familiar with. Prior to implementing VISI-Series nine years ago, we were using one seat of a once very popular, but hard to learn and use package. After we installed VISI-Series and realized the breadth of capabilities, power, and ease of use, we stopped using the other package and let the license lapse. We chose to maintain and grow our VISI-Series system and develop a strong relationship with Jack Thompson at Solid Tooling Solutions and Vero International. "The most popular CAD providers are hitting the marketplace hard in terms of advertising. However, in terms of product functionality, these products are not meeting customers' expectations in the long run. We have reviewed most of them and know they all fall significantly short in fulfilling customer requirements. It's almost to a point of frustration. For instance, when we receive a solid model file rendered using one of the popular solid modeling packages, it typically does not meet industry standards. "We can demonstrate if there are any benefits to their runner and gate locations or, what the drawbacks are based on their input. The software provides a full recreation of what the end result will be. VISI-Flow is much more accurate and it also depicts cycle time. Fill accuracy includes a timing element that will help them judge if they are meeting their required cycle time," Carlson says. "Using traditional methodology," says Carlson, "it was a costly measure in time and money to make changes to a tool once it was built. VISI-Flow gives us the ability to make adjustments to the design in a minimal amount of time." He says that establishing gate locations, gate size, runner locations, and runner sizes are VISI-Flow's biggest and best performance offerings. "The software is very powerful and fast. It provides customers with an in-depth depiction of the mold design. If we make a change, the customer can see the results of that change." bought in a small amount today, initially as a punt whilst I continue researching their markets, customers, competitors, and their operating subsidiaries. Very interested in their Chinese and Japanese subsidiaries and the potential for growth, especially within China. Will post anything that I think may be of interest! :)

Certainly from what I read in that article about visi17, the technology seems very impressive and the improvements it brings will be significant, so who is going to want to let their competitors get that much of an afvantage. Speaking of competitors, do you know who VERO's main competition are? I would like to compare credentials and potential for expansion etc etc. I saw that VERO have 9 new products all together, so they should have a suitable range available to their customers, and the fact that half their revenue is now recurring, should mean that they are prepared for H2 and they will remain profitable.

Two main things about this company that interest me are the fact that they already have offices in Europe, America, Japan and maybe most importantly China, and the prospect of a potential dividend! Clearly a company with steady growth and good profitability, moving into new markets through acquistions and JV's/collaborations with the likes of CADENAS.

on reflection you are probably right and I have read too much into it! The fact that they said it will not be an issue certainly suggests that the advanced negotiations will lead to deals being signed soon after the wording is confirmed, regardless of the percieved positivity of the wording! Do you think we will be informed of the value of the licensing deals or will it remain confidential?

Just a few questions if I may, Was the question that you did not understand anything to do with a pill form of Fruitflow, and a possible collaboration with Biocon? Also, do you think the nominee you spoke with who was representing an investment bank could have been there on the behalf of a group like Barclays, who we have seen have many nominee holders in PXS? The closest thing to a negative I ascertained from your notes of the meeting was that when you asked about the wording being critical to the value of the licenses, “They slightly laughed (condescending I thought lol) The Chairman made reference to the marketing people in the multi nationals. The CEO said it would not present an issue.” To me the laughing was an attempt to dismiss your question, and the chairman deflected from the question by making reference to multi-nationals marketing personel. Also the CEO saying that it wouldn’t present an issue was more about the signing of the licensing deals then the real value of such deals. This seems a sensible approach as they would not want to increase expectations if the wording is very positive, or create panic if it is not so positive or even neutral. Please feel free to correct me or dismiss these thoughts if you feel they are unfair or mis-representative of what you saw and heard! On a more positive note, the fact that when you asked about potential timescales for licensing deals after the wording confirmation, they said “The board are all connected to the industry and we are always talking within the industry.” suggests that we should not have to wait too long! Sufficient cash reserves to fund the next stage of development, by which time there will hopefully be some serious revenue coming in from major licensing deals! All in all a very positive meeting, thanks again.

First of all a huge thankyou for the work you have done to benefit those of us who could not attend the AGM! A very detailed account, which can only serve to increase the confidence of long-term holders. “The result was due July 27th and it is supposed to be a fast track process. We need to wait and let the EU do its’ business. During the EFSA process there was a lot of transparency and assistance, it was interactive with open dialogue this stage is not. “We have other products that we will wish to put through the process. We want to work with them long term. We are not going to hurt future relationships by rocking the boat.” The Chairman likened it to fishing for Carp and wanting to catch more than one. At this point Crohns was mentioned.” It seems like the board are extremely frustrated with the delay from the EU in confirming the wording, however it is good to see a sensible and long-term approach being taken with future relationships being protected. “They are trustworthy in my view. They are not focussed on the current share price though they are clearly aware of it. “DSM are not pressurising these guys on the SP.” Good to know PXS are able to run the company in the way they see fit, and are still aiming to maximise value in the long-term for shareholders.

thanks for your advice, not sure Kraft would be the best company out there to be getting shares in if the deal did go ahead, $8bn loan to finance the deal? Maybe long-term the increased exposure to chocolate markets would be good but just doesn't seem right to me. Always the possibility that Kraft shareholders could reject the deal anyway isn't there? Just out of interest do you have any tips for short-term gains on blue chip stocks? I personally find the volatility of the AIM much more interesting and profitable (if it goes right), but I think it would be too risky to invest my uncle's money there too! you seem to have a good grip of events here. My uncle asked me for advice on whether to buy Cadbury's now after the deal was announced, my original answer was that it seemed risky after a 30% rise, and the offer from Kraft is not all cash, which can be a problem for some nominee holders I think? Only really invest in AIM stocks now so not following Bloomberg or macro economic developments etc, but had a quick read of this news and brokers seem very optimistic of an improved offer or even a rival bidder. Do most brokers already hold Cadbury's shares? Thanks for your time

nearly had a punt yesterday as well when it dropped below 20p! Pleased for you guys that have been here a while though! Do you think the big buys todays (shown as sells) are the reason for the rise, or do you think there is a reason for the buys???? Cant see any news anywhere, maybe just the fact that it dropped below 20p alerted certain investors?

agree that the trend seems to be down at the moment, and the sale today of 134,367 shares doesn't make for great reading for a potential investor, but if this was to stabilise surely buying at sub 20p, at a market cap of under £6m would be a good buy-in price in the long-term? How long do you like to see it stabilise, or do you usually wait to see it breakout? cheers
