interesting, as Foresight 3 VCT plc weren't on my list of major shareholders, but they have only sold approximately 70,000 shares, so nothing to worry about! Suprised there isn't more interest here this morning, but buying pressure could pick up for the weekend, or there could be another bit of profit-taking, either way I'm holding to see if there is an offer of 24p or more! Some have mentioned a seller in the background, could it be Anglo Pacific Group PLC, who announced 28/07/09 that they had reduced their holding from 18% to 15% (http://www.hidefieldgold.com/s/NewsReleases.asp?ReportID=357777&_Type=News-Release&_Title=TR1-Notification-of-Major-Issues-in-Shares) so after that sale held 63,826,504shares, surely now there is a takeover on the cards they would want to keep the majority of their holding and reap the rewards? Any other theories on the seller?

bought in today not the best buy-in price, above 2p, but confident that this will reach 3p minimum at some point tomorrow or early next week IMO, also bought in VERO before takeover announcement at 13.37, and more at 21p, as I'm confident at a minimum of 24p for an offer to be accepted there, might be a good way of hedging the risk here if you are thinking of buying in for the takeover prospect, only if you DYOR and believe there is value, dropped back a little today, think this and VERO still have money to be made IMO! DYOR GL

nice profit for the MM's from the 500,000 they bought at 13.30 for 2p, about £1100 in about 15 minutes! Lets hope it keeps going, buying pressure still good?

thanks mate, after reading up as quick as possible about their prospects, I have jumped in at 2.19p, only for a small punt, but could make 40% or so, which I will be very happy with! Was debating between this and UGY, but this seems to have more short-term upside! Could have got a better price if I hadn't wanted to read up a bit, but better to be confident in your own decisions I feel! Good luck to all

dont hold all of those as yet, but looking at all of them!Hold nearly 50% of my pf in PXS and not overly concerned about it, more excited really! Would love to have the funds to play around a bit more the last few days, but making the best of what I have and its going alright. I too wish I had bought more sub 2p, 3p, etc etc, but like you say each rise and consolidationn gave the confidence for further top-ups, and I am sure there will be no regretting when all expected news is out, unless you sell to early! I think a licensing deal with DSM could be quite soon after the wording, and the Aspirin trial results could be any time this year! what price do you think the takeover here might go through at if it does go through?
