It is not the BoD fault either.

I’m watching/reading a lot of analysts views and they are all split between U and L recoveries. Don’t get your hopes up for a V.

Stop with the ordinary private investor needs their divi moaning. The UK is on its knees. We all know that to rely on the divi means there is hundreds of thousands invested in the shares. The average joe out there can only dream right now of being that secure at a time like this.

I get your angry - but don’t try and get sympathy when there are millions out there wondering how they’re going to be buying bread and milk in 2 months time.

Regards that 12% bond buyback - it’s probably only now that someone might consider parting with it for cash now.

A1 - I love your optimism regards divi. But filling the board with pro-divi posts won’t get you your divi ;)

BIGTWIG - the divis are 50/50 between cancelled due to how the country is on its knees - it paid and receive nationwide ridicule for being insensitive and not providing a much needed security blanket to customers.

If the banks pay divis, they have less capital to ride the storm.

If they don’t pay divis they are in a better position to ride it out.

Yes A1, Lloyds will rocket while we’re at the start of a recession.

Yes futures showing up 1%. Now it depends whether the markets see 6 months lock down as positive for the economy and struggling businesses.

There was a share allocation RNS in line with bonuses - are you confusing that with the D’s buying shares?

The only other recent one was Sarah Legg - and she bought at 41p’ish.

I agree with you skier1. A debit card with a £1000 per month limit, topped up each month to the max of £1000. Until this moment is over. Only to be used in the supermarkets - and to be fair nothing else is open anyway!

I’m not sure if it should be given. Or maybe 50/50 responsibility between the holder and gov, and the holders’ 50% at 0% interest, and the gov covers the other 50%. Or even the holder repays 100% at 0%, to be given to them after the first 3 months, and repaid over 50 years.

I know right. Crazy repayment length. But how long did we take to repay the world war debt? We CANNOT punish people.

I agree with your burdening the state post A1. I hope you get your divis. I hope I’m back in Lloyds before then and the c19 problem has gone too. Trump says by Easter ... so who knows!

I don’t mean to annoy anyone by saying that. Those hopeful for divis I hope you get them. But as jamesroo says, if people rely on the divi for income, they have a large enough holding to sell a few instead.
