Yes we did trade 36.88p the other week. But it was a peak. I’m saying is 38p will be the bottom of a trough.

Assuming no bad news and people don’t re-spread the virus .... and no other bad news ...
A solid reinforced 38p in 2 months time.

Does anyone know how much lag there is on market news and real economy shrink? 3 months? Or 6?

I can’t call a bottom, like most, but I’m filling my boots and I might hold for more tomorrow. I’m pinning a min of 20% return just in the next couple months, probably sooner - maybe. I doubt I’ll hold for long.

As with all market shocks, there is Mk year to be made until it settles.

falklandinvestor - how about you take a break? People said there would be a retrace and this is at least part of it. People here do not dictate a retrace, they just give their view. Don’t like it? Take a break.

You’re too narrow with your thinking stuart. You need to see the bigger picture.

Yes, money can be made by investing in it now.

1. This share will recover. No one can argue that.
2. It will hit 60p within 5 years. Although struggle to maintain its position.
3. Dividends will restart in 2022, albeit token gifts to appease shareholders.
4. This share will never go over 80p in the next 10 years. Unless they consolidate the number of shares down.

Every time you speak of 70p, 80p, 90p and £1, that’s just plain bs. Know your economy and be safe with your pensions.

Brexit, Covid and everything to come has screwed and will continue to screw the UK.
This isn’t talking down the share - it’s a rebuttal to all those morons (reminiscent of the 2008 crash) talking UP this share.

You’re forgetting the effect Covid will still have on the economy and therefore this bank. You’re also forgetting the **** show of brexit. Brexit is a massive negative for our economy and therefore this bank. It’s funny when people forget that.

All those talking about £1 ... 80p ... even 60p ..... Lloyds never recovered from 2008, then also it never really recovered from the Brexit vote in 2016, and now it will not recover completely from Covid.

Don’t get me wrong - I’ll be back in this share ... quite a few times. But it’s risen too far too soon. You won’t get that V you long term’ers would love right now. You won’t see divis back before 2023 and even if you did it would be given as a token rather than substantial.

Remember the UK has handled covid really badly. At least 20,000 unnecessary deaths from protecting the airlines and travel companies by not declaring anti-fly restrictions soon enough. Do you really think bozzer can handle the second wave as well?
