BARC recovered from ~mid March about ~30%. I’m thinking the fall today is because they were too high and finding a more realistic footing. Will probably go lower.

Compared to LLOY that hasn’t recovered at all ... hopefully the current price is already realistic.

Although all those people not wearing face masks, and we’re no longer in lockdown, with shorter social distancing distance ... leads to a nice escalation in virus spread.

Give it 4 months and we could be proper shagged again.

... no. The reality is that the virus death rate you quote IS ONLY as low as it is because of social distancing, hand washing, face masks, ability of hospitals to cope.

Taking your advice would increase the death rate, the transmission rate, the inability of hospitals to cope, shutdowns.

THAT is reality.

This is true. Big investors are waiting on the bottom. Little PI’s egging each other on ... praying for the spikes are gambling on emotions, not research/common sense/the pandemic/shutdowns.

Does anyone here know which cinemas were struggling before the virus hit? Which cinemas will be permanently shut this time next year? Which big towns and cities have multiple cinemas chains all fighting for a massively reduced pool of customers?

Wait for the multiple £100k+ buys, then you’ll know when things are moving.

When the big money starts moving in then you’ll know somethings up.

Currently you’re looking at an average daily investment of £1900 each buy trade. This share isn’t moving anywhere yet. No big money coming in. It’s all tiny punters wanting to make a quick buck on the next spike.

Wait until early/mid sept to see how the openings go and how the virus moves.

A successful opening with very busy cinemas will really help the share price.

But this won’t happen. It’ll be a muted opening costing CINE a huge amount ... all to show it’s shareholders that it’s business as usual. The choice in films is incredibly limited.

When will you see £1?

When the vaccine is announced. Otherwise you got no hope.

The virus is going to gradually get worse and worse over the next 6 months as it slowly spreads again. Costing the economy as it shuts-down areas/industry’s.

From the 31st, in the UK all cinemas that open will lose furlough funds from the government and eat into the bank account.

That extra funding that keeps getting mentioned is debt.

Tenet is NOT a blockbuster release.

The 1st major blockbuster is Wonder Woman 1984.

The cinemas will be losing money right up to Wonder Woman 1984.

Even at WW1984’s launch you’re looking at massively reduced numbers of customers.

If no vaccine comes before Xmas then your looking at a lot of lockdowns between now and then which will cost cinemas.

Families will be attracted to open space activities rather than cinema.

My position?

It’s not a safe investment yet.
As I said before you could be looking at a share worth 32p or less by 2nd October.

Jesus I’ve seen some hopeful posts on these boards over the years but Max’s takes the award.

This share could drop by 20% over the next 2 months if no vaccine news comes and the cinemas can’t fill seats until Wonder Woman 1984.

Do you guys really watch the Tenet trailer and think it’s the new Inception? Or rather, a better Inception? Because it would need to be Inception x10 to draw in audiences while a pandemic is still around.

Your best bet is Wonder Woman 1984 on 2nd October. That is a blockbuster.

Short term - it’s gonna get worse, and be a long bumpy road to a small recovery.

No Time To Die - 12 November

You are looking at 30-35p and a worry that there will be a right issue early next year ...
