Thinking of getting in soon. CORLIS38 was a bit premature a month ago, down 100 since, no matter what the divi is.
I am pleased I have sold this whilst it was still worth something after the plug in the Mail on Sunday. It will go t he same way as Moon's other AIM company PXS (a sub penny share) after sucking in fools buying at 70p or more.
SIS has been tipped in the press for a big uptick in share price as results soon to be annouced are expected to show profits are up 24% and there is scope for further increases. This could go quite a bit higher in the next week or two. Dont miss out - easy money!
As far as I can see SIS is another pile of crap just like PXS. Sahre price now 49 from around 65 faling in a rising bull market! I wish I have never heard of either fo them!
Sure I have shares in Aviva but I will be selling them soon and here's why:- I had an Aviva Pension Plan. It took them 51 days to transfer it to a safe cash deposit fund. It then took 15 days to transfer the cash to my new SIPP. Worst still, in the 35 days it was in the CASH DEPOSIT FUND it LOST £52! They had previously advised me to contract back in to the state second pension, absolutley the WORST possible advice on many levels! They had breached the Data Protection Act discussing my pension with an ex employer that I was taking to court. In addition, over the years, they have failed time and time again to send my annual pension statement. Add in Aviva charge a 5.2% spread when you first buy funds with your contributions and a further 1% in charges and fees, you need a return of over 6% in the first year just to break even. Sure I have each time been paid hundreds in "exGratia payments" over the years - money shareholders have lost out on because of errors mistakes and incompetance! Its not just me either! My recently widowed neighbour has been told it will take 4 working weeks for Aviva to tell her how much her husband received from his Aviva pension in the current tax year so she can enter the figure on a Tax Form to claim his overpaid tax paid. She just wanetd the number which should be easilly available on a computer system. Oh NO! When her daughter called to chase it after 4 weeks, she was told "no, not 4 weeks 4 WORKING weeks" so I suppose in Aviva speak, that's five weeks! Why invest in a company that is ultimately going to fail?
Can someone tell me how I am worse off after a return of capital/special dividend? I had 2000 shares values at14p in November. Now I have just 769 shares still valued 14p but with a special dividend of £145. This leaves me £28 worse off. So much for the return of capital!
When are we going to get the money? Everyone keeps banging on about it and yet nothing has been said that I could find. No posts on "Thursday" either. Fed up with this one, in a hole need something back from it to re balance my ISA
At least SIS are actually wiorth something unlike the PXS turkeys we're all saddled with!!
The sp may be running high on helpToBuy asistance and profist may well be up quite a bit on last year, even thought hey were up 52% in 2012. but................. The quality of the product is not as good as other house builders. Add in the fact it is rated just 4 stars by the house building industry's own in-house customer satisfaction survey and there could well be trouble ahead. Dont just think about the cash return to shareholders think about the fact that it won just 13 NHBC Quality ASwards in 2013, the fact Barratt won 96 tells you what you should be thinking about. http://www.new-home-blog.co.uk/as-the-nhbc-publish-the-2013-quality-award-winners-its-another-successful-year-for-barratt-and-a-disaster-for-persimmon-homes/
Nice rises from recent retreat. This should go all the way back to 650 imo. Good company great dividends, whats not to like. Go land! BTW: Buy before ex dividend? The price always falls by the amount of the dividend anyway. Better to buy when the price is right.
This one looks like a great long opportunity for a Spread bet. Anyone think there is anymore downside?
Just come back on here to see, like Speedmobile, if PVCS are going to pony-up any time soon. They are sitting on all that cash, I am sitting on quite a loss due to fall from 65p! Time to div up PVCS!
So we are getting 17p a shre back out of cash surpluses. Nice to know I have not lost all my shirt on this. This will rise steadilly as the news gets out. Could well be worth a spread bet long?
Love this share and the dividends but need the cash! I am looking to bail out at 215. Will it happen in the Santa rally?
Crikey, just logged in to see that my holding in PVCS has all but disappeared. What the hell is this firm up to.? Demand for Solar at an all time high with government subsidies etc. yet they cannot make a profit! The directors should bloody well resign. SHAME ON THEM! I am so pleased I didnt average down on this one. Another Woolworths?
Then get down to your local M&S on your town's market day. It will be full of OAP "zombies" looking at the clothes. Even they are not buying them! Over priced and very poor quality, thin fabrics, bad designs in terrible colours. I am going to Short this baby all the way to 200!
Dont touch this turkey with a barge pole! Look at the charts, it is going down for a reason! Over 2000 employees yet they make just 1.2% profit on a £900million turnover. I went to one of their Company divisional offices recently, I was also informed that are going to change their name to ISG South as a bridge they built had collapsed before the ISG group bought this company out! Top heavy staff and still recruiting? Not worth anything but a short in my opinion.
