united utilities are over priced especailly now they are ex div imo. NG are rising. trend is up. trend is your friend. Point taken about return of capital. One day they give you it back the next they want it back. All along someone is making real money out of this!.
Now we all know. A bloody rights issue sio they can buy AXA's UK businesses. These shares will be 20p soon. I am glad I only have the old friends provident free ones in this turkey of a company.
I hope you get back OK ash cloud BA strikes and China police permitting. At least PVCS is going up and up now! World Cup glory? you may as well stay out in the far east as even North Korea have a chance after last night! Only Germans can play a bit thus far imo
Nice rise since I last checked. this is going places this time. No ITwizz we dont want anymore retraces! I bought my last lot at 64 and thought that was cheap. You had your chance at 44, you wont see that again!
Is that a knock at the door I hear? If your watching China, I think you treat your people disgracefully. But I like investing in your country and making £££££'s
After nice rises the SP is back where it was just before the RI trading. We all now have some extra very cheap shares and a dividned commitment to increase by 8% each year. NG dont do oil slicks but if thye did they would sub contract it out to transocean!
Now lets see this really move up. We are over the worst and the government directive on feedback tarriffs will help even more. Farmers will be putting solar panels in their fields instead of growing crops. PVCS will be 97 by the end of the year imo
Does anyone know anything why this is bombing? It was 80p a few weeks ago. Mind you Standard Life was 225 and today is 179!
OK how many PVCS do you want to buy from me at double todays price? I can let you have as many as you want!
you have been busy on this one over the week. I have deceided to take up my rights. Done the calculation and am down 8% after buying rights so this is less than the recent market fall. Ex dividend SP fall means nothimng unless you want or need to sell staright away. I am keeping my NG for the dividends which are promised to rise 8% a year as you say. Unless Cash ISAS ever get attractive rates again there is no point in selling NG.
Nice to see some sense of reality on here! As you say these shares go in cycles, you buy at the low sell at the high and hopefully get the dividend somewhere in between. The markets will be in turmoil all summer over this and that. No reason to panice as companies are making money and paying dividends no matter what the goverment do. Bonk1981 what do you base your predictions on? Do you know of a takeover becayuse that is the only way this will hit 95p by Friday! We even have a four day trading week!
nice to see this going in the right dirctection. Could reach late 60's if the market recovers recent losses
DNX at 1000 or lower has to be a long imo
But ex dividned is coming to so they will fall another 25p on 4/6/10 too
Ex dividend date is 16 june and dividend is 23.13p Now is the SP low enough yet to make a buy for the dividned worthwhile? Hmmmm
I did the calculation as PROFITEAR. Lets face it befire the RI was announced the shares were around 620. Now they are 563.5 so some of the ex rights price must be already factored in! provided they want the money for something specific I will be taking mine up too. I expect these to fully recover so £3.35 is a bargain. Does anyone think the dividned yield will be reduced by the dilution?
LGEN will get cheaper imo. My buy price is 68p. I was laughed at when I sold at 90p a few week ago and said this would fall. you only have to look at Aviva's price lately to see a bargain coming and AV pays better divs
the kiss of death! has anyone else noticed that Sp do the OPPOSITE of what brokers suggest? Is this a coincidence/ Are they useless or do they do it on purpose to by the shares cheap or sell them off high? anyway, the figures speak for themselves and the share price is on the up at long last. Dividend still going to be good too if the results are an indication.
