for those that like to link the calendar, the map and the share price together I am on the ferry to France on Monday night and a SP hike say Thursday or Friday would be a valid prediction based on actual events of the last 3 years trips.

not as far as I am aware. you rarely see broker forecasts until the company confirms revenue and ebitda actuals. gla

guys don't be duped by the abundance of red deals they are not sells. both coffeecups and myself bought in the 355 to 345 range. Alfa has confirmed net 6.2m buys on the day, so what we know so far is the price dropped and buyers hoovered up. what we don't know is whether there is a background sell or whether its a shake to generate sales. prior to Friday the MM were certainly desperate for shares to meet the buys coming in, often selling to us only after sales landed.

so for me whilst we expect City have dumped, its not a certainty. gla

harmony thank you. 34m in that 10/2018 doc, which is superceded by a figure of 27m in the afritin shareholder list top 10, and in the latest presentation pdf dated 1/2019.

Whilst it looks like City are disposing, we don't have concrete proof. their holding of 27m is 4.98% of MC so selling down to approx. 21.5m will take them down through 4% which should give us a RNS. It would be interesting to see what positions the MM take on Monday on L2.

Elsewhere on the web I did see City were hoping to pass their positions over to another investment house, we shall see. gla

many thanks alfa. Having sat back and thought about it, the price drop is not a reflection of the investment its just a product of short term supply and demand, so for me, I will be adding and holding, even though I am already at the portfolio size I wanted.

It looks like Roscon now has the buying dip she was waiting for.

Hopefully the market will remain flat and let people hoover up without too much drama. gla

just collected a load of shares at 354 down to 348 on the drop. most of the red deals shown are buys. gla

just been a short attack on atm but fear not I have hoovered up 2 mil of shares. prices 354 350 349 and 348. good buying opportunity there right now. obviously my buys show red. no surprise. gla

I don't understand the pessimism, we have a load of great news to come, and the market is presenting a great opportunity to load up in advance of that news. I believe many investors here will look back in a year or so and realise what an opportunity this is (or was). gla

they may have run it down to just a couple of mil and then rather than clear it out, they could be shorting against the remainder and fluctuating from buy to sell which could help explain the no notification and the daily up down and up pattern. I am just speculating. gla

my feeling is widening the shareholder base to include II in SA, and declaring a dividend policy will make accumulating a takeover stake more difficult and will make it more expensive as the divis should increase the SP. As defensive measures go, pretty good. gla
