Federal land is that owned by the Government. So Biden needs to approve any Drilling on there.

The problem with Federal land is you need Government approval. If it was on State land then the State are clearly behind oil development so no problem achieving Permits from them. 70% of the land that the discovery is on is Federal. I think this is what’s stalling the JV ? Because if it’s a no from Biden (and I think it’s a no) then you need a Republican Government in OR you drill on State land but this will increase Drilling cost to get to the juice and will limit number of Wells (Obvs) from 100 to less than 30 ? I also believe that this is the reason Art held back on the RS Report. The JV could therefore rest on a Republican Government and if that fails / A reduced Development… Hence the JV delay. Just my opinion.
