Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Best thing you can do is not think about the price. I used to fret and panic daily, but you know, the only time the price matters is when you sell. Most of us are here for the long term. So does the price next week matter? Not really. The investment case wont change that quick.
Need to consider that there will be more competition to mine bitcoin, so there won't be a linear relationship between PH and number of coins mined. BTC is capped at mining 6 coins in 10 minutes (or so), for now (until the next difficulty change).
From Edinburgh :).
Not sure I have much faith in the asset management side of the business. I mean, they had funds like GARS...
I expect the announcement will happen later in the month/ in April. Doubt we'll get an application RNS.
What the f just happened at close...? The AGM result was already a given so doubt it's that. Bitcoin is hardly down. Where's this panic come from...? ALl miners are down on basically nothing that I can see...
Falling on little volume tbh. Its PI volume. There's better gains elsewhere in the market - i'm probably going to sell my shares here soon aswell. Board is pretty poor IMO!
Hello
As per titlte - where can i buy CLP? Looking more at the application trading tools (like Freetrade). But I can't see it on Freetrade... :(
It's a good company so you'll like it here :). I may top up more soon - just waiting and assessing rest of my portfolio.
Retirement isn't that bad an idea. Tbh, my goal is to hit retirement ASAP (hopefully by 38/39...) and then focus on my other life objectives.
29 but approaching 16! (According to those close to me i'm immature :)).
As someone with interests in the hospitality sector, budget was good news for me!
Basically it's to do with the bid-ask spread. That's currently at 5.
HL Still do it - but what they do is they will sell the shares and then re-buy in the ISA. Personally, I didn't like that approach as you're opening up to fluctuations (and they have a lag of a few days...). You can tell them you only want to sell 20k work, so don't worry about over selling.
Depends what IPO you want. PrimaryBid was running the cbx one. They link directly with HL (and any other broker)
That "faith" extends to a lot of things. For example, the US Dollar is linked to "faith" as is linking Gold with wealth. Bitcoin is cryptocurrency - it's a direct challenge on the way things are done.
Anyway, you'll get a lot of asset management firms that will challenge Bitcoin - but that's ok. A lot of that stems from them being late to the rise in crypto. Anyway - I expect view-points to change soon. A lot of Asset Management staff are allowed to hold crypto without needing to declare as per Personal Dealing guidelines. My expectation is that a lot will invest in this area, will understand it more, and this will lead to a top level change in a firms AM strategy.
Next 10 years will be interesting.
Doesn't matter, at BD. Bitcoin falls. Bitcoin rises. Long term, the trend is positive. Down-trends in prices only matter if you're over extended and need to sell. That's where the panic comes from. SMart money will force prices up. :)
A gain of what, £5m? will lead to a chunky tax bill. Not sure his full tax treatment (UK gains but Canada resident) - but the amount he sold seems appropriate for tax purposes.
tbh this is fairly common. Exercising options means he will have a chunky tax bill. The sale of shares is probably to cover some of that.
Would love this to make me a millionaire but I haven't bought enough lol (and I'm not topping up unless this falls...!)
