The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Indeed it is his holding. He'll make a tidy sum from that, i'm sure!
Gross profit is reported differently but traditionally, gross profit is simply your revenue minus the direct production costs (cost of sales if you like).
Good numbers imo
I was originally pleased with my 50p entry... Ouch! Long term I guess still looks good...
I think - for all my investments - i need to look at the long term. Portfolio had a chunky profit to now show a chunky loss...
Good set of results. Shame about the lack of share price progress. Hopefully soon...!
By the time miners are needed, we should have more money anyway. There's a lot of moving parts for Argo - Pluto for one. It's unlikely we'll hold all our bitcoin, and also there's the loan facility we could use if needed.
You can buy on most platforms with the ticket (e.g. HL let you buy nasdaq shares). But the shares here should be on par with the US.
I guess that comes back to the nature of the company - it's a growth company. I wouldn't expect a dividend from a growth company as i'm personally here for capital growth. And yes, staff get paid for work, but sometimes it's useful to align interests by way of equity. Equity incentive plans are important.
Not sure if he was not happy or what. Maybe a bit frustrated. It's linked to staff retention though, so partially understandable. But let's see what the proposal back is.
Haven't tried to buy Nexo coin, so I can't comment. I think for me, the fee's haven't been a lot. It's mainly their spread they charge, but less than a %, which was less than what Binance charged me...
For whqat it's worth, I buy my crypto using Nexo. Works out a lot better for me.
Lmao savage response. Let's hope for a lot of Argo millionaires :). Would shut a lot of trolls up.
I sold up yesterday. Don't really have faith in the Management team. I might buy back in the future, but nothing to excite me yet and there isn't likely to be any new information for a while. My proceeds went into Argo Blockchain instead.
I wish everyone the best!
@DrLong - interesting that you think fair value here is 67p. Why is that?
Anyway - goal of investing is to find undervalued companies and see them reach fair value. :). If you purchase at what you perceive to be the fair value, you won't make much money. So you might aswell target a 33.5p share price.
Fundamentals haven't changed a whole lot though as the difficulty has come down. So whilst we were mining at higher revenue per coin, we are now mining more coins at a lower price. So it does balance out. We will see at the next monthly result :)
Agreed. I've held from around £5, it's generally pretty stable. I normally invest in growth stocks, but this is my one true dividend stock . Once I hit my portfolio value target, I do plan to move atleast of my holdings here.
I just bought in recently (last week) and disagree also. There will be value to come in the future. This will multi bag, if you are patient.
got to remember, their margins are around 80%. So on a simple PE, ARB is currently on a PE of less than 10. That's ignoring their current Balance Sheet value at the same time.
Nice price for entry :). I'm targeting holding around 1-2m shares in the short-medium term. Waiting on 3/4 bids to go through for my other investments which should free up considerable capital. Hopefully will be able to retire at 35!
Lol the majority of us are investors here. Its a slow stock, but the company has a great product with a growing top line. Personally, I think you'll make money here in the long term.
Just don't expect it to give you 5000% in a year
Hello
New here - I've just bought about 20k in shares. Company prospects looks fantastic and company looks undervalued. Looking forward to the next 5/6 years! :).
