As for Main Board listing - why would holding a mine have any relevance ... how could that even be applied to more than 800 companies. There are 50 odd companies with lower mcap on the main board and at a paltry doubling to circa 25p there would be around 150 (that is around 25% of the board).

actually I did not do that .. More than 60% of the Cobalt mined is in a pretty ****ty place, largely controlled by the chinese and ends up in EV's ... the aspiration is newer synthetics .. just not there yet in any real quantity.

Personally, I dout the real environmental impact of the materials to make shiploads of EV's is much considered ... but we all have a point of view.

I just laugh when my mate takes his Model T (one of 3 now) to get an MOT and the tester's look at the wooden brake .. so funny.

One of the ways in military design to get around the issue of 'not being around in 20 years' is that all design materials and data are end user suppled or held in a secure repository. If the supplier goes out of business, the buyers have rights to obtain and sort out (via insurance) fixes.

Most of a VFRB is simple (tanks, pumps, electrolyte... it is really only the key parts of the controller and stack that would be at issue, but I cannot see long term warranty being a great issue and suspect the major sticking point might be rather more on lifetime of parts (it is a pretty corrosive environment), and there being limited data around yet .. just hazzarding a guess, but if it was me, that is what I would worry about - the rest can be dealt with by pretty much anyone

no chance .. Boris has too much political capital tied up with 31st Dec .. and besides, on the EU's track record, in 6 months we will have exactly the same place - they want all the fish and to tie the UK to EU regulation, we don't.

Leave, clear the air and reset in a few years - the EU is busy imploding anyway and faces a much more serious thread come March next year if the Budget is not signed off (and currently Hungary & Poland refuse point blank - predictably as the EU is holding a gun to their heads on migrant distribution).

And don't forget .. if we don't leave 31st Dec, we become liable for a whole raft more payments stretching out.

One of the points made in the virtual IFRB in June was that in the USA it is already accepted VFRB is cheaper and of greater cycling use. The sticking block (that Data centres particularly were wanting clarity on) was on long term warranty.

The economic argument was clear last year .. VFRB is cheaper - the more you use it the cheaper it gets, the more you use Li-Io, the more expensive (as capacity and life reduces) .... 'Warranty' is the challenge to get overcome ...
