I should add of course, that with those generated figures ($185m+) .. I would rather expect a healthy dividend (maybe 3-4p+) ... similar mining stocks have yields ranging but if we picked 4%, that is still an SP of 100+ at a min.

Whatever way you look at it, on purely steel sales alone and ignoring everything else the SP moved 5-6x from here over the next 3-4 years..... newbies takes note ... not many stocks can say that with such a low risk

Well ... at a V price of $60 and all in costs of $28, 8,400 delivers $270m (on a 100% basis). V price of $50 => $185M .... so need more added value beyond that from Leasing & BE

Would be delighted to see a strong upward motion, but a 2B valuation (as you put) might very well take a lot more than final nameplate capacity and all of that is 4+ years away..

the demand is already higher in China than last year and the year before .... China has exported Vanadium in the past but no longer - there is a large and growing deficit. Hence, even with a tarriff, Bushy has gone from 3% exports to China to over 25% and growing

Vanadium pricing is heading up, but it works best for everyone not to get too high... $45 would be a good number all round, but anything over $55 starts to dampen and cause other options - also does not help with VFRB, and although we have leasing, we dont for 16-18 months until the plant is operational

the only thing really patentable in a VFRB is the stack .. and everyone and his wife has a different variant all pretty much working to the same level and efficiency.

But none of them work without Vanadium strangely enough ... got oodles of that and no patent required

I think mistakes happen in all companies, but I do tend to agree the vision has been rather ahead of understanding. I mean, I suspect most (including the BOD) thought that 2019 was the year VFRB would really start to roll out and indeed the Electrolyte plant was originally muted to be operational by the end of 2019: currently barely started ! Covid has delayed a bit but it is pretty clearly gathering some pace now. Just a shame we have no electrolyte plant built and ready to supply.

Basically, Bushveld is just a small commodity miner still and until there is a solid, demonstrable and commercial vertical integration path and story that is just how it is going to remain. All the talk of Eskom misses the point that all Bushveld can do is supply Vanadium (and a bit of electrolyte from Vanchem). Sell to a steel maker, sell to a box-pusher .. there is no enhanced value there. I could be (and hope so) proved incorrect, but all Eskom can do for us in the next few months is change sentiment. To this end, I do feel a bit uneasy about the BE delays.

As for mistakes, lets just remember it is also a learning curve of an initially small company with rather poorer plant equipment than was originally thought. Evolving that, putting the finanace and roadmap in place to make it a bigger and much more solidly cash-flow-positive company.

I just think they rather better get a move on with Vertical Integration lest traction is lost and other in development technologies gain some ground.

As for your comments HaleSpur - I do not subscribe to the 'must always be positive' line at all. One reason I do not miss RK at all and much as I like Libero, I find his posts a bit tiresome at times.

There is lots of good and a few bits not so good - it is all information to help us make our own personal risk assesment. 'Always Positive' is nothing more than pumping and 'negative' dumping. I rather like a range of views.

Although my interest in cycling has well and truly run its course !

Lets hope for a nice positive few weeks as news starts to roll :-)
