Yes @Beginerman ... whole thing has been delayed and delayed.

However ... there is not a lot of point completing a plant when the market was not ready for the large amounts of electrolyte. The last published plan (back of some presentation) indicated summer next year, but I suspect if needed, could be very much shortened. Also, I would see that as full plant commissioning and it may well be that a staged commission was possible..

If events gather the pace, then I would expect acceleration - but as it stands, it really is demonstrating the kind of timeframes for any significant vertical integration, ie unlikely to be this year but we never know !

Perfectly relaxed as every gram of vanadium can be sold with ease and the price is on the upward march. A lack of electrolyte just means a relatively small potential loss of added value

yes ... the RedT Scott gambit ! ... we have loads and loads ... we will see if/when anything arrives. remember, the Electrolyte plant wont be operational for 15-18 months. Not even sure the plant has started any construction yet (was it not 22nd Feb ground cut someone said a while back), but no idea if it happened

Not impossible.. but pretty unlikely. After all... there is a decent chance that BMN will make a gross profit not far off Afritin's current MCAP this year !

The tin re-rate is clearly having an SP impact on Afritin ... wonder why the Vanadium price change is not having the same here ?

If I am not mistaken, this is to 'enable' completion by next monday .. so really it will all be Institutional Investors getting a discount anyway and will likely be oversubscribed in a day or two

One possibility @Brel .... just remember the markets love placement deal - a rich source of low risk returns at a discount as they get to the head of the table first.

I had a look at the post (that has been removed from the thread). Whilst I am not at all sure I agree with much of it (well any actually), I am not at all sure it was abusive - it was a point of view.

Whilst it seems obvious just looking at other holdings that the MM's are not just "focusing all their powers of manipulation on a small South African mining operation", what is it people want... an open forum or a closed once just as manipulated as the MM's seem to be one.

The way to destroy this kind of jibberish is to show it for what it is.

In this (and indeed many deleted posts), there are points of view. Just as there are ra-ra endless optimism posters, so there are the more negative .. is it not called debate ?

..... vanity is your point of view.. I see a consumate CEO building a vision. I may agree mistakes have been made (it is a journey of self learning for him too), but to take a business with a minor Iron role to operating 2 out of the 4 Vanadium mines not controlled by China or Russia and having complete control of the cashflow does not strike me a vane .. just a sound businessman.

Not sure I agree @Vauch. fCF substantial enough to pay a meaningful and sustained dividend is a year or two away. I am not expecting a div to be payed until SEP/Oct 2023 with 2022vbeingbthe first practical maybe date

Not sure I entirely subscribe to some of the 'big seller volume' kind of views. Whistle there seems certainly an element, Bushveld has far greater volume that the highest traded F100 share !

A peak of selling/Trading does seem to be coming to a head though .... as per the old 17th Century navy sailor moto .. 'Hold Fast' !
