RE: Production numbers11 Feb 2019 14:19
Nothing runs in a straight line and the half life of any plan is less time than it takes the ink to dry.
I am certainly a bit frustrated that the original production targets were missed by a country mile and the production increase targets are clear fiction .... but a bit like charting... its all with the benefit of hindsight.
The facilities were not maintained well and despite the early plans (from people who were there during the run down) the upgrades have taken longer, cost more and been technically a lot more challenging.
The only unacceptable errors that Fortune and team can make are to repeat failure. They seem to me to have been pretty honest about the gaps of the knowledge they had vs what they needed and have laid out a development plan to not make them in future.
Do I now always expect a target to be met... No. Rapid expansion contains risk but do I expect some targets to be occasionally exceeded.. yes ... because a great team open to past issues and learning from them will deliver.
I think we are in a great place... perhaps a few months behind the curve we talked ourselves up into last year, but very probably the fastest growing and most profitable AIM company.
