what a ridiculous proposal .. show me a company ... any company, that does this. If you want to see an invitation to short then this is a great way to flag it.

Dividends are paid out of profit (and more specifically should be paid out of free cash flow, ie that which the company has no immediate use of)... there is only a vague relationship between profit and SP (just look at the spread in PE's)

Less flippantly, the pricing has only just really started to increase, so I would have expected a lag of a few weeks anyway

I thought it was an error of judgement to announce a policy, delay it twice, and then basically just say it will be a proportion of free cash flow in the future... which is just self evident.

But we are where we are ... Only div I see paid inside 18-20 months is a small special if some of the Lemur sale (assuming it is sold) is passed on.

AML has never made money .. the floatation price of 1800 was ridiculous and even with this 20% it is 476 ....

It has been loosing money and been in need of a cash injection for months.... rinse & repeat in 12-18 months ..... I know people there as well .. know that sector well as I worked in it for years .. AML has always been a dog... fun cars, but just can't get the scale to make money

Aston Martin (AML) - a dog of an investment in my view, has just gone up almost 20% today on news of a 20% dilution (printing more shares).... go figure !

And those EBITDA figures are only for Vanadium mining operation. There is nothing at all about revenue streams from BE, which we know both FM and MN say will generate substantially more revenues than the mining operation over time.

In 3 years the projected free cash is around $108M. With BE operations I would not bet that could not be at least doubled ....

... and FCF means big dividends ! 50% paid (say) would be a div in 3 years of 25% of our current SP .....

It is simply staggering the MCAP is where it is !

As FM has repeated in mantra for years, his aim is to be the 'Lowest Cost Producer'.... The drive to reduce costs has born fruit and there is more to gain both with improvements and scale.

The Key is to remain profitable whatever the Vanadium pricing ... just think of the squeeze on other producers !

Why the surprise.... Show me when a good results RNS has resulted in a re-rate.... It is invariably neutral or negative.

We have a broker target 4x current price... The potential is clear, the cash generation is clear, amongst the most profitable on AIM is clear. But SA is a mess and external investment is seen a high risk.

It is not higher production, bigger mine profit, multi plant that is going to re-rate us to the broker target. It is BE orders that I think will primarily move us IMO....

As in the military, the order is 'Hurry up & wait' .... Some great analytical posts today though
