Exactly BBN .. a medical expert on the radio a couple of days ago said using the models they had of spread, the real death rate overall was somewhat less than 1%. Until a test of antibody has been created and random population testing done, they could not know how many had it mild and recovered unknown, but from the models created (over many disease flows), the headline was invariably too high.
But if you are in a risk group: pre-existing lung or chest condition, old, low immune system function, then it is most definitely very serious.
