I didn't say it had no value ... I said (elaborating), in the sum of parts calculations that the brokers do to target advice to investors it barely figures ... in other words, they attribute no SP impact or value.
This is not the same thing as its sale value and the return generated.
I don't think you will find anyone on here disagreeing it needs to go, but having been rather short-changed in Afritin, I am not sure many want to just give it away either. Your assertion that getting rid 'gears us up for the FTSE' is your opinion - personally I think that is tosh and in the brochure, although mentioned (if we still own it), I would be amazed if there was not some clarity on its long term position .... so have little if any bearing on anything. I mean really, an investor is not going to see the picture, the cash, the growth, the potential but fail to invest because a possible coal mine still had not been disposed of ... nonsense !
