Fair comment Phil but we should be doing 50,000 to 60000t by this stage and we have fallen far short of that. The company expanded the high season from January too when before it was March. Today is pleasing but there is much work to be done!

Good to see the company's SP positively flying again. It's SatNav is preprogrammed for a destination of 3700p, Been a lot of good news which has not been properly reflected in the price. Putting your money in airlines has always been bumpy but I like the recent highs.

1.66p yesterday for a sale in pretty decent volume unless it is a void trade. I only see it reported on LSE. If it wasn't an erroneous trade the I expect in the absence of a flurry of buys we will see 1.75p give way in short order.
It is funny that the investors telling me I should not comment on this share at 4p and that I was a deramper are real silent now.

Morning Phil. Pleasing update against very weak comparatives. On track for 43000t production for FY 2019 but hopefully they can actually do at least 45000t with the stored kernels being processed during the low season. Of course we might see CPO prices rise in tandem. Both PKO sales and PKO price are down and although only a small part of the company I would be interested to know why demand has softened. It does seem to me a useful diversification as a mItigation to a poor CPO quarter and achieves higher prices per tonne to boot.

No need for Gok Wan today but I would like to see the company put at least two successful quarters together. You can see today by the lack of SP movement bad news is bad news but good news is only good news when there is real belief that the company is going the right way.

Yes but showing no signs of recovery even after an accelerating fall yesterday JC. 75% below when it was 12 pounds and yesterday's update gave me no confidence that a further PW isn't on the way. I hate selling on a big fall but yesterday's report was so gloomy I was going to buck my principles. Is 300p going to give way? I think only a bid can save this.

j/k Very good summary, I really appreciate it. I agree with you below about the timing of the announcements. Delays are never good news with DKL, nor is any persistent selling in the run up to these announcements as we know from bitter experience. Neither appear to be in evidence so maybe my 18000+ won't be far away. Unless it is a clearing of the decks exercise with bad news swept to the fore, we may be in for some good news. Norpalm was a nonsense and a distraction so I am glad that has been put to rest. A board member said it was also a reason some funds and directors couldn't invest in DKL as they were party to information that was not public. So perhaps we will see more buys now when production news is out.
I wonder whether Biopalm still has a stake. Rugs would probably know anyway but might be a question that could be answered here or by the board.

Back to sells at 1.75p Although only small in terms of value. I can see 1.75p bid giving way. About six weeks to results so ok maybe there will be volatility and some positioning prior to this but this could well retrace shortly. I haven't done a dummy buy but if the ask is 1.8p now -which is under the bid- then sellers won't be getting 1.75p for long.

The SP is holed beneath the surface and shipping water at a rate of knots. I wouldn't invest here even in the hope of a salvage operation but I suppose it is whatever floats your boat

I'd say most holders are giving a large wave goodbye to their investment. You would need sonic radar to find the bottom. I can;t sea many investors shelling out for this now when it is already on the rocks.

I will sell mine to VSA for 9p and they can keep the change :)

Morning Rugs. I can only see two small buys here but you are possibly right about a large sale. I'd say more the mm's marked it down on the scale of the losses Rugs as a pre-emptive move so there may not actually be a seller at all.
I hope we can get good production figures in 10 day or so. Today's report will not be so bad if the plans come to fruition. This will hopefuly mark a low point for the company.

I wouldn't mind moving to Cote D'Ivoire actually. It seems you can rent 42 hectares of land for 4573 euros per annum but I would certainly not rent a vehicle which seems to cost 1062 euros to 1080 euros a month depending on lease.

I am relieved! An announcement to cut the divi would have sent this back to 500p I reckon. They have tended to sneak out Profit warnings on the update blaming poor recent weather very often and input cost pressures. Today though show a resilient performance all things considered.

I get you are losing money on this share so I guess you would like to be like me and not invested. I will add you to the long list of posters here who have no issue with rampers but have issues with someone who urges caution at 12p and 6p against the posts of a copy and paste serial ramper.
