Very nice jump in profit and a hike in the divi to boot. Seems to be weathering the Brexit fiasco quite well and I like the cautionary approach to the outlook which will be useful in tempering expectations. It seems to me that they expect some of the Capex to hit paydirt in h2. The weak pound will help competitiveness and market penetration of North America and other areas is still early stage. Lots to like here but I suppose it will depend on hwo the markets percieve these results short term to see if we gain traction. Longterm this is a very solid company which is performing exceedingly well.

Morning Noel. Thanks for your words but I fear they are wasted on this concert party. Their focus is always on personal attacks over imagined agendas and want to speak about anything except the company itself.
So one trading day left and no announcement of results nor even an announcement when they will be announced!! No announcements of any contracts either for ages so I don't know where this idea of good results will get its foundations from.
Still waiting to hear from anyone here why FLX would delay the results if they are going to be good. And they are delayed as per last year and of course their own investor presentation.
I think Noel and I will welcome when the results come because we will at last have something tangible to discuss rather than these laughable and futile personal attacks.

Actually it was Dodgepot who spoke of ridiculous guesses where the SP is heading and not Fairview so my apologies. And the comment that questions were answered in a thoughtful manner applied to Dodgepot and not Fairview therefore. incidentally I never claimed to know what the results will be, I only say a delay in announcing them is never good news. You Dodgepot can not give me one reason for the company to delay publishing the results if they are in fact good news, Go for it. Just one reason. Just one.

After a decent post Fairview below where you answer questions in a thoughtful manner, you now return to type with baseless accusations about trying to drive down the SP. Do you really think I have any influence on the SP? I have explained to you many times why I post here and that I would never invest a single penny in FLX.
However in your most recent post -which starts with another personal attack -at least has some content relevant to the company. And you are honest enough to admit you would not invest your original stake in FLX now. These persistent personal attacks add nothing to this board. I would be interested though if you have any evidence of ridiculous SP predictions that have been posted here. The only ridiculous ones I have seen were the 4p,8p,20p ones that I complained about at the time. I even accept that the 1.6p looking cheap this week while totally inaccurate to date is hardly ridiculous so far.

GLR, Good post but we don't even know if they expect to release results at the end of August!The only communication was direct to investors at a presentation and that was miscommunication at its finest.

Did you ever buy in GLR? You said 1.5p was your target price. I feel sorry actually for posters like yourself who come here to get some share discussion when instead you get contributors who are losing money hand over fist in FLX but are concern with other's shorts and imaginary agenda in what is to date one of the best shorts on AIM and an appallingly run company- the latter determined by the SP and communication and placing history -and not just my opinion.

Dodgepot, you have nothing to say on FLX in your last I don't know how many posts. Always wanting to shift away the focus from the company to personal attacks on posters not of your mindset. Can you please try and produce some comment which users of LSE might wish to read? I understand your mindset as you are losing money here. At least 33% down on what you have said yourself was your buy-in price but maybe more if you bought higher up. So how do you feel about FLX as an investment now? Would you commit more money to it? How do you feel about the delay to the results? Why are they delayed?

Noel, I can accept that I may have got this company horribly wrong. In one way i will be very pleased if that is so because you will make money and I will only have been proved to have been spouting nonsense about the company.
I do have one message from now though on all those who say I have an agenda and talk about my short on this. Why don't you plough all your money into this as clearly I am completely mistaken and this is one of the best investments around. After all the market and I clearly do not understand it.
Two more tradings days before I get to say Mike Read and the CFO clearly do not understand what four weeks mean. Nor what constitutes late July/early August. When addressing investors and potential investors. At a roadshow they organised themselves. Let that sink in.

Not a single buy as per LSE since August 20th and even that buy was less than £300. Sellers today getting 1.51p and the latest only 1.5p. Anyone who sells in any decent volume will have to go to market for a price and will only get 1.4p. If they only had the sense to announce the results date, they may well stop this haemmorghaging of the SP as some investors position themselves for a bounce in a bombed out share.

Noel, it is futile trying to reason with unreasonable people. Having put money into FLX they have a sense of entitlement in their mindset of what can and cannot be posted. They are insecure about their investment and who wouldn't be when they have chosen an investment that every single investor is losing money on. They cannot defend the company on fundamentals or any achievements so the only line they can pursue is personal attacks and attempts to silence those who post anything that does not chime in with their entitlement. Down another 3.13% today on their investment and rather than focus on performance, they will busy themselves with posters shorting this or even why posters are on this board at all. But they still need to trot out their entitlement manatra of "Posters can post what they like" always followed by "but..." and advising what the entitled they would do in another poster's position.
Interestingly Noel you are a target for their abuse now as you able to see both sides of FLX. You would never have received any personal abuse in you fitted in with Dodgepot and Fairview's entitled view of FLX.

You spout some amount of nonsense Fairview or unfairview. You avoid answering any questions as usual and of course you are the self appointed judge of how I spend my time. You are still trying desperately to find an agenda with your accusations of a 'twisted view'. You might want to learn both to fully read and fully comprehend posts before making any allegations. Your confidence in 1.6p looking very cheap next week is completely laughable given the SP performance to date. You ahve selected one buy out of a welter of selling. However I am happy to bump this post next week to see whether you are right whether 1.6p will look cheap next week.

Don't do shorts Mr Dribbles though I said this was the best short on AIM at 2.8p. No need to see your position here though as you in common with all the others who don't like contrarians here are in fact losing money. You know the ones who arrogantly think that only they have a right to post? Yep. I am not surprised actually that investors are keen to talk about stocks other than FLX. Back to a level where NO-ONE can claim to be making money on FLX at 1.5p. Though given the mindset I expect some to claim still being at a small loss.

I just checked your posting history MtrDribbles and you only post on FLX. I do hope this is not your only investment. I see you bought once at 2.135 but were also critical of my negativity on this at 4p. You also asked me about shorting this when it was 3.5p. I bet you wish you had Officer Dribbles :)

sneak out the results tomorrow. It would say everythng about this company if they put them out late afternoon on a bank holiday weekend hoping people will be away or distracted. If not tomorrow then surely they willl make an announcement soon as to when they are. This continued silence won;t be good for the SP. There is a current lull in trading of its shares but I can see more investors throwing in the towel as the silence around the results continues.

as I think the recent market sell-off has hit quality stocks like SPX. I am hoping that 87 to 90 pounds can be achieved here in less volatile times but am comfortable adding at under 80 pounds a share.

Bubbling up nicely. Oversold recently as we know the results will be good. Given how the markets are I think we can expect more volatility. However I will be adding on dips as I did this morning but of course into the rise today.

GNK has fallen a smidge today which is not real surprise as beer tends to go flat if you leave it on the table too long. Nice premium as the uplift in the SP is well above recent averages but they are paying peanuts when you consider the SP was 1200p at one point. I would be feeling salty if I had put my order in at that price. It would be nice if another bidder was flushed out as it could go a few rounds. But the offer and the last divi is really enough for me to dine out on.
