Buying pressure will push this higher as people release profits from other covid plays

I was thinking the same thing. They know they cant test the population with the lab based tests and so only placed a order for 10 million, this was to cover key workers which they mentioned. With that in mind, they would have been fully aware of the public pressure on providing these tests to the public so why mention a test that isnt available to the masses unless you have another up your sleeve? I believe the mention of the roche order last week was on the back of validation of the consortium test, except when we get the announcement it wont just be validation but will include orders etc.

We were in the high 60’s a few weeks back on the slightest hint of good news. Since then we have much more positive sentiment, i said i would be very suprised if we were in the 50’s by month end.

The price should be a lot higher as the market sentiment is very much in the favour of this test coming to market very soon. Seriously cheap at these prices, wont be in the 50’s for much longer. Wish i had more to throw at it!!

Pointless. With Prof Newton on the programme surely one of the questions should be about home antibody testing which is the key to releasing the lockdown?!

News is imminent. The clues we have been given, Prof John Newton’s comments and the pressure on the government to deliver this. I mean, validation should be straight forward given Newton’s position with PHE.

We have literally been given all the signals apart from the ones which will send the price flying. Any serious investor would know what is about to happen here!

Very interesting that the Abbot test proved more reliable than roche, given all the attention roche got this week from the media. I suppose the conservative order of 10 mil tests was probably due to the potential of this sort of research arising. This makes it even more imperative that we get our test to be as accurate as possible.

Given we are the front runners in this type of test and the importance of it as emphasised in re opening the country i actually dont mind not hearing any news until we nail it. Be that 2 or 3 weeks. The last we thing we want is an approved test and then later down the line reading something like this regarding results in practice.

This will be us in a month. ‘Demand is huge’, can younimagine what demand wil be like for a test the government are telling you to get?? As long as the virus is around you will want to take a antibody test fairly regularly to identify if you have ever had the virus especially given the high percentage of mild symptoms. I think i may have had it so am quite desperate to get one of these.

As soon as our test gets on the market i will be buying a few as i am sure most of the country will. 50 million tests will not cut it, i think the UK alone will need about 150 million by christmas due to the nature of the virus and type of test this is. The 10 million order from roche is a dip in the ocean of this market honestly. All imho.

Timescales have not slipped behind anything. We were told end of May at the earliest. Ramping the board constantly does not speed up the timeframe.

They are linked to antigen testing. Not a threat to Omega. They potentially have collaborated with Novacyt but im not entirely sure
