Phil... the substance of your post is agreed, unfortuneately all the fallacious, engineered statements are designed, as you have discovered, too scare Holders too Sell and Buyers to avoid. The intended outcome to create uncertainty and a reduction in SP. Grammar and it's usage can be challenged as we have discovered often is, however the general thrust of debate should be factual and supported by tangible evidence. Here we have unscientific projestions which when questioned get NO supporting evidence, just bluster, insults often by innuendo, which adds Zilch to any sensible debate.
The Culprits of misinformation should be reminded of their past statements which took a completely opposing view to now for instance who wrote, "Potential value here is a mind-boggling, easily 10-20p in the next year"
Guess who??
Imminent was a term used on another board last year, where I challenged the writer as it is a very imprecise word and certainly not specific. It could mean tomorrow, next week, next month even next year a bit like "soon"
Most of us know a Fund raise is probable but not definite as other events could overtake the need, i.e Shell may buyin a greater consideration than already agreed, CLNR could even find a Buyer ( this was being openly ramped last year). Even if the raise occurs there are a number of methods Funds could be raised which could or not involve existing shareholders. Algy Cluff has always made it clear as did Graham Swindells the intention is too grow Shareholder Value.
The end of April should give us more when Shell have determined their intentions.
