It can and does happen, a Dealer will know what orders are to be filled, know ( sometimes Chinese whispers) the potential to sell on the next day ( at a profit), and will hold overnight and longer. It is a judgement they use to make a profit ( margin)

Knowing the seismic survey was completed in June and interpretation of data can take up to a year to analysis, BP have developed a procedure which gives results in a month. It is very possible this aspect has led to Verbier being pushed to back of the queue.

There is a lot of conjecture here, some may be spot on some wrong. As always time will tell.

ajax as I recall the 3D seismic survey was completed last June and the data was to be analysed and used in conjunction with the appraisal drill results to be released mid-Mayish. Understand a "speeded up" analysis of the 3D data was produced in December but not released generally.

If I have got it wrong, hope someone will correct!!

during the last week Andrew Benitz and Ron Lansdell have seen their investment reduce by £945K (AB) and £1.4m (RL).
