This is the problem with electronic certificates and an easy way for Brokers to lend shares too Shorters. If you have a paper certificate they cannot do it.

The BOD should be in possession of a Plan and what is happening in the NS. Radio silence is all very well but it can in certain circumstances, breed rumour which is rarely good. The problem could be as a Junior partner JOG is not fully informed.

ajax the problem is with the improved Oil price, JOG are unable to secure a viable production asset. They may have missed the boat. There are any number of companys getting in who appear to have deeper pockets than JOG.

The acquisition of producing assets was on the cards from early last year, however as already stated JOG have been outbid on at least 10 occasions.

ajax investors need too understand anyone who Shorts a stock has to Borrow said stock from existing Holders.

This is done sometimes from Brokers/Funds who hold shares in a Trustee Account. In other words, and it is done, shares you own and held in a Trustee account can be lent without your knowledge. I came across this practice a couple of years ago and must confess found it appaling.
