Yes, with oil at $100 we are making around £15k a day. Multiply by 365 is around £5.5 million profit a year. Oilers are normally valued at 10x profit which would value us currently at £55 million or 3p.

Of course that also values the renewables at zero and also ignores the prospect of a farm in ramping up those numbers five fold in short order. Oh and no recognition of the reduced costs when the refinery is in full swing over the next 12 months or so.

I really can’t quite fathom how anyone with such a negative view of a company doesn’t just sell up and invest in a company they do believe in. Surely you’d make the money back you’ve lost. Unbelievably stupid really continuing to hold shares in a company you don’t think will add value.

good question. well the current market cap at £20 million seems vastly under valued for a company with such hot prospects, in a country that desperately needs oil to feed their refinery in the next 12-18 months.

depends on the farm out terms and aspirations of the partner. if we keep say 51% of the block and the farm out ( likely indian company) want to drill the **** out of the block in 2026 (15 plus wells) we know that each well is likely to be between 100 and 200 bopd . not all of the wells will strike oil but let’s say 60% do, we could be looking at 1500bopd before the end of 2026.

at an average oil price of $63 that would mean a share of $25 million profit. at today’s current price you are looking at a share of $40 million or £30 million. on a pe ration of 10 you’re looking at a market cap of £150 million or around 7 times the current market cap.

all of that doesn’t include any future prospects or the renewables which in itself could be massive (who knows)

the market is pricing matd as a company that won’t get a partner (the last rns explicitly states we are very close) so there is a massive disconnect.

With the current state of the Middle East and oil prices going to go above $100, the fact we have enormous oil reserves in the ground, the fact that we are in touching distance of agreeing a Farm Out that will unlock thousands of BOPD a day and renewables looking to unlock massively valuable projects this is THE MOST UNDERVALUED SHARE ON THE AIM MARKET.

I was in MKANGO last year at around 10p and had similar feelings- that share went on to seven bag for me. The market hasn’t cottoned on yet to the magnitude or opportunity here but when it does- it will be explosive! I am happily building a large position at these ridiculously cheap prices. Those spending hours every day knocking the company are going to disappear very soon! Trust me! GLA

I hope this current Apple in oil price has focussed minds on getting the Farm in over the line. Strike while the iron is hot and get those drills working all summer!

Not sure I’ve heard anyone cheering. What’s going on in the Middle East is horrific. If you’re a holder of oil stocks though a higher oil price is obviously good news despite how horrible the circumstances of it rising. If a Farm in were to be announced in short order then MATD will go parabolic.

Personally I think oil will be above $80 on open Monday and will push up towards $100 if it’s a drawn out conflict Iran’s infrastructure is massively compromised

Interestingly MKA spiked up to the equivalent of 55p in Canada at around the same time. Seems obvious we are receiving the funding! Next week should be interesting 👀

I hear people moaning a lot about promises not being kept. Yes things take longer than would be hoped (we are based in Mongolia where things do sadly move at a snails pace) however since I’ve been invested things do eventually fall in line.

The same will happen with the Farm in- it will come and it will change MATD instantly into a major player! GLA

The most exciting part is that none of that incredible potential is priced in at the moment. What an incredible and rare opportunity to make lots of money! GLA
