@PB Up to you mate, if you have a closed mind dont read other posters thoughts or advice. Hex was brought to mine and many other folk's attention by it being 'punted' on other boards so for me, I keep an open mind and check/investigate what other people are suggesting, but if you are not bothered, just ignore advice from other people and live by your obviously superior knowledge of investing. By the way, when do you actually plan to post something of any value to other people other than just wetting your pants and rambling nonsense in every post that you make? or is that still just work in progress for the moment. Best just filter me, I would feel far better than to think I may have given some small minded moron like you something of value.

Well, senility has finally arrived. I have just realised that I had bought some Hex stock in my wife's ISA and had forgotten entirely about it. And, I paid way too much in anticipation of that initial gas to surface expectation tat never arrived. Well, she is stuck here for now, there may be early indications from Rudyard a few days after they do their first well stimulation. Someone on here mentioned Monday to start the test? Could be by the end of next week for the first cheshire cat grinning tweet. ORCP and RKH worth a look btw.

DM was the reason I never got involved in the early days, I can't bare to even listen to him but I bought in as the company appeared to be getting on with things and were making progress. Can't say that hex has been bad for me as i came away with a trading profit but it really hasnt been anything like the success anticipated. There may or may not be further opportunities here, as I said, there is lot resting on Rudyard.

@office - just read your 12.54 post - not too different to my own. Goodness me, i will be in the litter bin too.!. Told myself at 0700 yesterday that if the SP made it to 22p bid, I would sell up the rest of my holding--Myles nearly knocked me off track with the tweet but I took just below 22 in the end - bit of luck actually listening to myself for once. I didnt bother posting much yesterday, the bb was a mess with the new arrivals so I switched off from it. There will be another chance at making some cash here in a few weeks once the SP has settled down to where it gets its support. Think its a bit early for that just yet, it may settle above the current price of course but I'm staying out for now.

Question. How do they know what the project resource is exactly? On what basis are they suggesting that Amsden relates to only 6%. 6% of what? 6% of the depth of the well? 6% of the combined soil volume when considering all of the zones and their potential thicknesses across the entire license area? Answers on a postcard please. When considering the immediate potential resource, i.e. the hole in the ground that they actually have, Amsden is at least 30% of the potential payzone and the rest of it currently has no flow. One could therefore say that Amsden represented 100% of the immediate potential if one were spinning the yarn in a different direction. There is a lot now resting on Rudyard which by all accounts is a done deal.

If Myles has mentioned this on his twitter A/C then that is likely the cause of todays flurry.

I think that the flow rate in cu/ft needs clarifying. Do they mean 8000mcf (8000,000 cu/ft?) ie 8Million cu/ft or do they actually mean 8000 cu ft as stated verbally.

360ft of gross potential payzone....bears no resemblance to net producing interval. Misleading spin by the hex leadership. They are quite good at it, but it's their job to keep the mcap up as much as they can.

Blimey. Not happy to be eroding my free carry but happy to have taken out the principal £ last week in anticipation of less than excellent news. More testing and waiting to be done. Lets see what the overall combined performance is or is not once they have tested all zones and attempted further stimulation. One observation though is that if there are no issues with porosity as we have been told then what is the cause of it not flowing at flathead as this area was not the dodgy shale section. Next -ish could be acid flush on the non producing zones to attempt removal of mud cake- if there is one.

@prospector. I posted last week or so that they will have to achieve a stable flow before they test anything which could itself take a few days or more than a week to achieve, they then might run a few preliminary tests for pressure and flow. They may be able to run a gas composition test on site but this costs $$ and they would need a representative sample to be analysed so they may just go for the lab test - who knows, it's all speculation of course which can be a harmful pastime. What is however unnerving is that there has been nothing on clink at all. Even if they had reported that they have gas to surface but were waiting for it to settle down before attempting any evaluation it would at least tell us that they have something other than a water fountain.

The Helium was measured during drilling and now that all of the disturbance has taken place and the helium has been fully released from the water and drill cuttings there is no more helium to measure.

The have measured the gas at surface with a gas chromatograph and there wasn't enough flow to register on the gauge so they have taken a gas sample in a tube and sent it to lab in the hope that the GC was malfunctioning.

Officecat et al. I have done OK with HEX so I have reduced exposure. I started at 16p and traded 3 or 4 times during May and June up to 24p or so, and then added more than I should at 18 and 21. I reduced exposure this morning not wishing to potentially lose the gains made over the last 6 months. I don't have any particular red flags but the whole point of this sharedealing lark is to make money so I am up about £10k since 7th May. I'm leaving most of that in to see how it goes. I might put the rest back in again if the opportunity arises but in any case if this goes as well as some of the predictions and gets to a £1, I'd be happy with a 40k profit in any case.

Officecat. Think about what you are saying mate. I have to say that a lot of what you say makes sense but you have got this one entirely wrong either deliberately or by mistake. The interview was all about Rudyard-they have already drilled it, cased, it done the wireline logs and are about to perforate it--all in a very fast time and they are way ahead of their initial estimates of 2-3 weeks to drill it. They are about to start testing it, they are not 3 weeks behind perforating and Mr Sears did not make a mistake when he was talking about perforating. They may even have done the perf over the last few hours. All he said about Clink was that it was under test--this in itself means they have perforated at least some of it otherwise there would be no test ongoing. You have lost cred points on this one mate.

I haven't sold any stock yet which kind of tells you that I still accept the risk. What the ppm measurements mean in terms of the well performance or gas content in production I wouldn't pretend to know.. They will have to run the liner, perforate the 'net' pay zones (determined from logging), that will be much less than the 300+ft of 'potential gross' and then start the well test etc etc as per Clink. Hopefully there will be a video/interview or something that helps explain how the ppm information is helpful. - and I/we would have to trust what we are being told.
