Seems like all the posts with this title no longer exist?
@Pardariff. Hey, I'm not there in amongst the hubub but if the first attempt doesnt work they or only has minor improvements they could do another acid wash. If they can assure themselves that the problem really is only mud there are some other things they could try if they have or can get to equipment. There is a sort of horizontal multiple drill tool that extends from the vertical well bore into the formation. These are small diameter holes that can be used to attempt to go deeper than the extent of the mud. If they are successful then the well flow can help natural clean up and slowly but surely improve performance. Other than that, and if the cased section encasing the shale section is proven up to the challenge, it would be far cheaper to cut a window in the casing and drill around past the damaged section into a new virgin undamaged rock. These are just ideas matey and hopefully this mud is only caked on like an impermeable membrane for a very short distance and the acid can melt it all away. Only then have they got a chance of doing a meaningful test on the relevant intervals. Only with hindsight will might know what transpired but they don't really have to tell the whole story. They'll tell us the beginning and the end but the middle might remain in the Helium Fairway :)
They need to bladdy hurry up and get sorted out though, winter is cruel in that area and could well put an unwanted pitstop into the mix.
